Heartbeat 2 Wks Ago But None Today

I went in for an ultrasound two weeks ago and there was a heartbeat then I went in today and they couldn't find one. The babies growth rate is good however. Is there a chance they just couldn't find it but it was there?

If the growth is good, then there might be a chance (I'd think). When I miscarried and they couldn't find the heartbeat anymore the growth wasn't right either.

I find it unusual that you saw a heartbeat 2 weeks ago and not today. I would ask them to repeat the scan within 3 days of this one. Every 3 days in early pregnancy the baby's bpm should go up 10 beats and grow about 1 mm a day. I saw my babies heartbeat at 7 wks but it was slow and the baby only measured just under 6 wks. With repeat scans the baby's heart eventually stopped and I miscarried. Have another scan ASAP just for your peace of mind. Good Luck
