How Many Have Had Positive Quad Test

I'm 18 weeks and just got my results. They say I'm at an increased risk for Downs. I've been reading a lot, and it seems like the test isn't very accurate. Just wondering how many other women tested positive and what the final result was (after further testing or after delivery).

well at 16 weeks i had the test sone and it came back saying that my baby had down syndrome and SLOS. i didnt request additional testing but did have an amnio. the test from that came back neg and baby is completely healthy. so dont really trust those tests too much

I'm 18 weeks and my test came back pos. for downs don't know the results yet will find out next week but it seems that they are very inaccurate. and people i spoke with who were in the same situation or knew others they all came back as a healthy baby. So i;m hoping for the best and trying to relax

To Nikola, please let me know how things turn out. You're in my thoughts and prayers. I decided not to get an amnio done b/c the dr. said if my results would have come back as 1:270 instead of 1:269, I wouldn't have even gotten a phone call saying I was at an increased risk!
