Hello all. I did ivf with frozen cycle 2 weeks ago today. I got a beta test today and was only 18. I go back fri. to see if it doubled, and from there I know things will be better if my numbers keep doubling. Here's my question. I have taken 5 early home pregnancy tests in the last week and they all turned out positive. The test is supposed to predict 20 hcg and above in your system. Well, Monday the positive line on my test was pretty prominent. Tuesday morning it looked faint. Then I find out today my hcg is only 18, and later today I took the same hpt I've been taking and the line is so faint it's almost non-existant. Does it seem pretty fair to say that my hcg is dropping? I know this seems like a long shot, but can hcg levels drop slightly and jump back up, healthy enough to double? I know I may seem to be grasping at straws, but I can't help to explore every avenue. Thanks in advance for any insight.
