I took a Clear Blue Digital HPT on 3/9 with a positive result. On the 12th, I began slight pink bleeding only noticeable when wiping which later turn bright red. This bright red bleeding only lasted 1 day and the subsided to the pink mucus like spotting. On the 15th, I went to the ER due to pain in left side. According to the ER testing I was not pregnant , but the discharge papers state complete abortion and referred me to an OBGYN. The OBGYN stated we would wait 2 weeks for another HPT and then go forward. My lmp was 02/03. Did I have a miscarriage? My PCP states I was never pregnant and probably just had a false positive result. I'm confused and have not answer and no closure. Mourn if I were never pregnant. I'm going stir crazy. Still waiting on serum hcg due Wednesday

Could it be that you had a tubular pregnancy?

Sounds like a miscarrage to me. It is very common. You did nothing wrong.

Pregnancy tests are 99% accurate so I'd guess you miscarried.
