The Dr tols me I was 7 weeks 4 days last week Monday after I went to see him as I was bleeding. There was a baby with a heart beat in one sac, but I had another empty sac. The Dr said that the bleeding could be from that empty sac and that I shouldn't consider it as a miscarriage of 1 twin. Has anyone evr experienced this? What does it mean?

Thobeka - I've never expreienced myself, but I am a mother of twins and was told that a lot of women get pregnant with twins and then there is something called the vanishing twin syndrome where one of the twins doesn't make it and basically it just vanishes, nothing needs to be done. I'd look up more on vanishing twin syndrome. Best of luck with the other baby.

I am going through this problem now. I was pregnant with twins and misscarried one. I am about 9 weeks now. It just means you lost one and is still carring one.

I have been bleeding for the past two weeks since my visit to the doctor. My doctor did say that I should expect this. Also I think the sac came out, as I saw some sort of an intestine during my bleeding. I can still feel my baby and think its healthy. I'll be seeing my doctor within the next four weeks and will then see if all is ok. Thank you for all your responses.
