Possibly Ectopic Is There A Sac

I've seen so many stories on this board that are very similar to mine. I went in for an u/s at what I thought was 8 weeks 2 days and I was having some very light brown spotting. The u/s showed a very well-forned sac but no yolk. The doctor said I could have miscalculated and could only be 4 weeks but it could also be ectopic or unhealthy. When there is an ectopic pregnancy, does the sac show up in the uterus or not? They tested my hcg levels that day and today I have to go back so tehy can test again to see if they are doubling. Of course, I'm scared and very anxious and every ache or pain makes me freak out and think my tubes are about to rupture. Can anyone give me a little advie on this?
