Rubella Im Not Immune Anyone Else

I live in Ontario Canada. Even though i was vaccinated for Rubella ( german Measels ) when I was a child, it did not take and I am not immune. Not usually a problem, but there is now a huge Rubella outbreak in my area, and I have been told by my DR to stay at home...for a few months!!! Does anyone have any info on this, or is going through the same thing?

Ok, no responses....does anyone know anything about avoiding infectious diseases in general. I am scared to death of getting this. It can cause serious birth defects, including mental retardation, blindness, deafness and heart defects. Any info on just avoiding it would help, even if nobody has experience with exactly this disease. Thanks

I have to same problem they will give you the vaccianation after the birth of your baby so dont worry
