Spotting Blood After Going For Number 2

I am only 5weeks pg and the day before yesterday I went to the bathroom for a number 2(sorry too much info) and this caused me to spot blood for about 24 hours. I've been to the bathroom again today and its had the same effect. Could this cause problems? I'm so worried. I had a scan after the first instance and everything looked well but it is still very early and not much could be seen except a very small sac in the uterus.

Hi Kath. I don't know the answer to your question but I can tell you that I have experienced that too. I am also approx. 5 weeks pregnant. I have had minimal blood and only when i wipe. I called my doctor the nurse said not to be concerned.

Hi Jen, Thanks for your reply! I have been fine today. I ate lots of fibre yesterday and it worked, so I'm stickin with that! I've been ok all day today, fingers crossed! Hope you are too. xxx
