Could I Be Pregnant With Mirena In Place

My last period was Dec 11 2015 and I had unprotected sex on Dec 24 2015. Since then I have been cramping bad and feeling sick. My period is not due until Jan 11th but on Dec 31 I started bleeding..I guess you can say spotting because it was very little. Some in my underwear and a little when I wiped. It stopped that same day and resumed again 2 days later. And it stopped again and it just started yesterday which was Jan 3 and stopped that same day. It's not even enough for a pantyliner. I am cramping really bad, I almost fell out tonight at work also from being light headed. And I just took a pregnancy test and it said negative. I don't know what to do. Did I test too early or am I really not pregnant?
