Hi ladies,
I am new to the forum. This will be my 2nd pregnancy via IUI.
I have a 2.5 year old daughter from our 1st time doing IUI back in 2011.
Now we are trying for #2 via IUI.
Last Friday, which would have been June 6th I went in for my blood test. My HCG levels came back at 20 (I think I was 13dpo). They wanted me to redo them so I came back this morning, which would be 72 hours later and the result has doubled to 40 (I think I'm 16dpo)....
They believe I ovulated late and came in way too early to test. I don't know where to start counting from because my IUI was on May 21st and I think I ovulated around May 24-25th so it should be 14 days since ovulation.
Now I am due to come back in another 72 hours for my 3rd blood test to see if there is a significant increase.
Has anyone started low? Mine doubled in 72 hours. Is that good? Why is it going so slowly? With my first pregnancy, I jumped from 150 to 500's in 48-72 hours.
I'm not bleeding so I'm hopeful but scared to know I have such low hcg levels.
Yesterday afternoon, I did wipe and have a very very light pink spot mixed with my discharge (implantation??) but now there is nothing...
Anyone experience something similar?
