No Visible Sac At 5 Weeks

I found out I was pregnant with my sixth child last week. I had some brown light spotting for a couple days but it has stopped. I should be 5 weeks and 3 days, according to my last period.I had a transva___al ultrasound yesterday and the doctor could not detect a gestational sac. He said it could mean anything. I could be misscarrying, I might be earlier, or it could be ectopic. He told me not to worry myself, but thats impossible. I am going crazy waiting for my hcg results. I don't know what to think and I cant stop worrying. Can anyone help?

i am in a similiar boat...but this is my second child. i am 5 weeks, 0 days today and they couldn't see anything in my sonogram either. my levels were: hcg 170, progesterone 6.9 i go for round 2 tomorrow and i can't stop worrying either. this is a great site to vent on! thanks!!!
