Hi AMS! First, I want to say welcome to this board. I'm sure you will find this to be an amazing source of support. Second, I'm glad you had your myo and that you are feeling better. It's a slow process but you will feel great! Third, thank you for your words & for being my cheerleader. :-) You are RIGHT-- I know I deserve better and that I am better than him. I just need to remind myself of that, everyday. I am keeping busy- going back to the gym, trying to reach out to my friends more, seeing my family this weekend, etc., If I don't think about it, I feel ok but it's when I'm driving in the car, walking to work, when i have moments of solitude that everything that i've learned floods back & i start to a___lyze things. It's exhausting and frankly, I'm tired of letting him & this situation get to me so much. I have to stop giving him that much power. He didn't make me, and I can't let him break me. Like I told Ms.Monet-there's a reason for everything. What this reason is, I couldn't even tell you but I have to believe that it will work out as it should and for the best, not for the jerk but for me!!! But please send me little cheers, as I will for you. :-) Thank you!

Hey Guys! Just got in. Looks like I have to go in for a Hysteroscopy on Friday to remove my fibroids... Pretesting on Thursday... Ugghh! Well, at least it is not a Myo! I will start taking birth control pills, today. And after I am finished taking the pills... I will have to give my self hormonal injections twice a day for 10 days then we will do the egg retireval process, mix it with the sperm and put it back in me hoping for pregnancy. Yippee!

Heading to the hospital to get prepped for surgery, tomorrow. Will check in later... Hope all is well with you girls!!!

Hey Ms. Monet, Good luck today with pre-testing and I will be thinking about you tomorrow. Do you stay overnight with the Hysteroscopy?

Hi everyone! sorry I haven't been around for awhile..been really busy with work. MsMonet...I'll be thinking about you and wishing you well. Please take care and write and let us know how you are doing. I went for my check up and everything is OK. I have to go back in a few months for another check up..and yes the doc put me on birth control. Other than waiting for the time to TTC everything else is fine. Take care everyone

Hey MsMonet - Let us know that you are home healthy safe and sound and fibroid free! I go for my 20 week U/S next Thursday. I'm sure they will dwell on my one little 'roid left standing (and growing a little). Worth it girls!! Mark my words and stay strong! It's all worth it!

HEY EVERYONE-I am home from the hospital. Always alittle scary going in the hosp. The most scariest part for me believe it or not is going in the surgical room. Meeting and greeting... Seeing the tools... Feeling the coldness, etc... My Anestiologist (sp) asked me where I'd like to go and I said to Egypt. He told me to close my eyes and I would be on a boat on the nile river... I definately felt warmth as I fell into a deep sleep! :)Woke up in the cold recovery room back in New York Presb... No, place like home!!! lol! No pain down there... Only in my throat. They sc___ped the mess out of the back of my throat with the tube. Man, I can't even speak. Stayed in recovery for 3 hrs and I was on my way home. No pain... Been taking Motrin 800mgs... Only eating Marino Italian Icees... Go back to the doctors on the 10th of May for a check up. Finish bc pills on the 20th. Period on 21st. I suppose I start hormone injections on one of the 2 days... Not sure if you start them before period or day of... Then they will retrieve eggs, mix it with my husbands sperm and pray for a pregnancy... Yippee!According to my dh, my doctor got rid of the scar tissue (which packed my uterus full) and fibroids making room for a baby... My doctor spoke to me but I don't remember what he said... I'll wait til Monday to speak with a nurse just to make sure... But overall at the nurse said all went well. Yippee! Hey, I didn't know what I got done was another type of Myo. So, does that mean I've had 3 although this was v____ally. I don't know. Thanks for the prayers. We will be preg by mid June, God willing!!!! JOKER-Check in more often... Missed you, girly! When can you start ttc? Oh, I am excited for you!!! MELISSA-Thanks, Melissa! Pls,keep us informed, girly! RU-What's going on, girl? How are you? Hi MsMonet! I'm glad everything went well and you are doing great! I hope you do get pregnant in July. I think we are going to start ttc in Oct/November..wish me luck. I'm scared thinking about it. I've been so busy that I just work and sleep and go back to work. MelissaK I'm so happy for you..hearing about your 20 week U/S makes me remember when I was 20 weeks.. I felt great..no more nausea and I felt like superwoman..I can do anything :) I hope you are feeling great also. MsMonet: More grease to your elbows, as you run this encouraging marathon race. You share birthdays with a couple of close relations, under the Leo (Lion) sign. Indeed, what a trooper !

Pain came on sat and today (Sunday). Hospital meds wore off... This is nothing compared to the Abdominal Myo. Nothing at all. I won't complain.... Lots of discharge but can't help but think that I will (God Willing) be pregnant by mid June/July. BCpills have caused some bloating.... I know that it will all be worth it. I go back in for an exam on the 10th of May. JOKER-October? Nov? That is so wonderful! We might be preg around the same time.... MS POSITIVE-Thanks for the encouragement.

MsMonet - Advice that was shared with me right after my Myo was to hit it hard and fast to beat those little buggers before they grow back again! So move it along!! Retrieve 'em, shake 'em up and get it going! This is the one!

MELISSA- How are you? What's new?Lol! I will hit hard and fast! You know... I can't believe by the first or 2nd wk of June... I will know if I am preg or I will be in waiting. Wow! I pray that all will go well. I am like a kid on Christmas Eve. I get alittle nervous sometimes... Say a little prayer for me. I would love twins! This is the one! You are right! I believe that!

Ru93 and everyone! I've been resting and trying to recuperate after the myo. I am doing fine, sometimes i think I try to do too much. I had my follow up exam yesterday and my doctor said to wait 3 months before I try to get pregnant. I am scared and excited all at the same time. RU93, its good to hear that you are being strong, I am so proud of you...keep the faith and keep moving. Ms. Monet, I am praying for your twins, I would like them myself and definetly a boy and a girl. Joker, dont be scared, your time is coming...relax and embrace it! MelissaK, good luck with everything, you are in my prayers. I am so glad I found this communcation outlet, each of you are an inspiration!

AMS-Do take it easy. 3 months will go by quickly... The only real adjustment for me after the Myo was wanting to have intercourse and being afraid that I wasn't ready or if I would break something inside. You gotta take it slow.... I was told that most of it is anxiety... I had a Hysteroscopy 2 wks ago to remove scar tissue and a fibroid. I go in for a follow up appt, today. Wow, I will be preg within a matter of wks... Hopefully, I will get a schedule, today. Will let you guys know....
