KKMS~ All the best to you with your HSG next week!!! Remember to take advil or motrin or something for the pain!!!! Unless-you don't suffer from pain at all which is likely. I suffered but you may not. Sasha~

Hello everyone I have great news. No I am not pregnant I wish (just a little humor). However, I met with an excellent doctor today and discussed my options. She seems very interested in helping me get pregnant and that is exactly what I was looking for. I had blood drawn and I am going to have a few tests done in order to pick the best option for me. Please pray for me as I do for all of you. Damajuana, I hope all goes well with this pregnant be as lazy as you can be. LOL. Kat I hope you are pregnant keep the faith and keep a positive att_tude and God willing things will work out. Baby dust to all.

KKMS ~ a little advice about your HSG: if you have any "heavy" meds left from your surgery, take them!!! I took 800mg Ibuprofen (I only had two left!) about 2 hours beforehand. Granted, the procedure itself still hurt, but I'd hate to think what it would have felt like if I wasn't doped up! Also, I had no cramping or pain afterwards whatsoever. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

Healing...GREAT ADVICE for KKMS about the pain killers!! I, so agree with you!!! Sasha~

KKMS - March 5

My HSG is scheduled for 1:15 on Tuesday. I am taking a half day off of work. I still have some hydrocodone that I may take since my husband is driving me. I appreciate all the advice!! Please pray that everything is still open. Today my prayers are for my students, they are taking the BIG state test that determines if they move up a grade and is HUGE stress on all of us. I am ready to be done with today and on with making a baby!!

KKMS~ I'll be thinking fo you next Tuesday and hoping that both tubes are WIDE OPEN!!!!! I will hope the best for your stduents as well! I'm at home watching TLC - we had a snow day here and the story is about a woman who had a baby girl, then had two miscarriages, then had a still birth at 22 weeks, then had another miscarriage and after 7 years of all of this is finally about to give birth to a healthy baby boy!!!! I can't help but think of all of us and our situations and the determination we must all hold on to as we move forward with our hopes and dreams of becoming "mommies!" Keep pressing forward my sisters!!!! :) Sasha~

Sasha I was watching the same program on TLC. However I started watching 15 minutes already into the show. The determination she must have to continue to try after those losses. KKMS I hope your tubes are as WIDE OPEN as they can be. Continue to pray and everything wil work out for the best.

Hi all! I went to the doctor again and guess what? I don´t have to stay at home any more!!! But he told me to go from my job to home and from home to my job, in other words not to exceed. They made the ultrasound, and I could hear its heart pounding! It´s incredible that at seven weeks you can already hear that!. Joker I asked for the 17 alphahydroxy progesterone shot but he answered that he prefers to control it with pills, that I need very specific doses so the pills are the best option. Hope he does not have an arragenment with the laboratory as this pills are costing me an arm and a leg hehehe. I was joking, I trust him and will do whatever he tells me to do.... he is doing prompt and good diagnoses so seems to be a good option... What about the other ones. Sasha how are you going? Kat 123 and you? Any news from Ms Monet?.

damajuana - March 8

Oh I almost forgot it! For those who are thinking whether having the surgery or not : the ultrasound showed that there are no fibroids on the western front!. I am still fibroid free, that´s good new also.

You heard the heatbeat pounding Damajuana!!! How wodnderful is that!!!! Again, I am so happy for you!!! Are you sure it's just one baby in there? :) Seven weeks! I hope and pray this first trimester comes to a healthy close for you and that you have a remaining two terrific trimesters. That's good news about being able to travel again - not exceeding though! As for me, I am still in the "waiting stage." My cycle should start in a week to about 10 days. I should definitely know something by March 20th I guess. Still hoping and praying for a pregnancy! We'll see...If not, three more tries and knock knock on fertility specialist's door hubby and I go. Thanks for asking. Ms. Monet I am sure has her hands tied with her two new additions. :) Hopefully, we'll hear from her soon when she can talk. How are you doing Joker and everyone else?

Joker - March 9

Hello damajuana! I'm so happy for you that things are going great. My only wish for you is for your trimesters to go by fast! I'm wishing and praying for you to have a wonderful and stress free pregnancy. You take it easy. I know you already know to do that :-) I'm gald you asked your doc about the shots. Did your doc say how long you will have to take the pills for, or is it unknown right now, whether it be for a few weeks or your entire pregnancy I'm glad they were able to find out what the issue was and treat you right away. You take care of yourself and your little one. How is everyone else doing..I sure do miss MsMonet, I pray all is well with her and her twins and she is just too busy and tired to drop us a few lines. As for me, nothing much is going on with me. Still unable to TTC, because hubby is out of town, but hopefully he will be back to try in April. Isn't that bad, I'm only want him home so he can deliver the goods...is that bad? I mean I do miss him, but all I can think about are my cycles! I hope he doesn't find that out :-) There is one thing I want to ask you ladies..does anyone have night sweats before they get their period? I have noticed it has been going on for a few months now, but this past week, I woke up soaked. Everything was soaked, my clothes the sheets, the pillow, my hair, my entire body. It was like I was laying in a pool of water. I know your temp spike when you ovulate but this was crazy. I did some research and I think I may have a hormonal imbalance so I'm going to go to my doctor and have them check it out. It could just be a drop in estrogen that is causing me to react this way or it could just be nothing. The reason I think it is hormones and especially estrogen is it doesn't happen any other time of the month except a week before my period. Let me know if you had this happen to you or know of someone and what the issue was. I will let you know what my doctor said. Take Care everyone!

I had the HSG yesterday afternoon. It went well. It was not painful AT ALL. At one point, she said "you may feel a menstrual cramp" and I was thinking, "if this is what it is supposed to feel like, then what the heck??" it didnt hurt at all. There was very mild cramping. The Dr. didnt say anything and hurried out of the room, which freaked me out. But, then the nurse showed me the films. We KNOW that the right one is open, but couldnt really see the left one. We know that there IS a left one, but it must have been hiding. There was some contrast behind the uterus, but she didnt know if that was from the right one or if the left one was hiding back there. SO, good news so far! I will call my Dr and get a follow up with him in a couple of days, Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

FABULOUS KKMS!!!!!!! A lot of times women get pregnant RIGHT AFTER having an HSG!!!!!! Also, I got pregnant with one tube open - so can you - if you have one open - I know you're not sure but in any event...you CAN get pregnant with one open. All the best!!!! I'm still waiting to see. It's too early. Three more months to go until I see a specialist - if needed. :) Sasha~

KKMS - March 13

Thanks Sasha!! I have an appt, with MY Dr. this afternoon at 3:15. We'll see what he says. My husband and I are headed to California for Spring Break next week, so maybe we will get knocked up while we are there. Vacation s_x is the best!!!

KKMS - March 14

Went to my Dr. yesterday and he said that both tubes are wide open and that my uterus was "perfect" and fibroid free. He did say that I was working with half a uterus (?) b/c it was curved to one side (maybe it didnt keep its shape after the myo, I dont know. But he kept repeating that it looked PERFECT and there were no problems. We will try on our own for 3 months and then go back if we are still not pregnant. Thanks for the prayers!! I am keeping all you gals in my prayers...I know we all want the same thing!!!!!!

sasha777 - March 14

Wonderful KKMS! Sounds like you've got a plan and will now work the plan! :) Two open tubes - marvelous! :) I'm still waiting. Actually, I'm not due until a few days so I shoould probably calm down. If not this time, three more tries. AHHHHHHHHHHH the waiting game! A part of life which I know all too well and accept with thanksgiving! :) Sasha~
