Hi all! Ms Monet congratulations for the twins! Can´t believe all you had been through, I read your post and some tears of emotion showed in my eyes.! I am so glad about the happy ending,I can imagine how beautiful this might be for you.
I started also to get worried about you but Joker kept telling she must be busy with the twins, don´t worry! Well done, I can´t even imagine how difficult it may have been to go through the two surgeries but in the end it was totally worth!. Joker and healing, don´t get dissapointed, keep on thinking positive, it´s incredible how your mind makes wonders!. I know it´s not easy, but then you see Ms Monet, and the others and you know that you are not alone in this. I also think everytime something happens, why on earth does this happen to me?. Then you enter into a forum where there at least 20 cases that are similar to yours, and don´t feel so lonely and bad. You know the month before getting pregnant I had a delay of three days also, and I am as punctual as a swiss clock, I think unconsciously I didn´t want to have my period. I am fine, I took a week for Easter break and went to a resort nearby. I stayed there very calm, doing barbecues and home made pizzas at night with some friends. Long naps, beach walking during the day. I am doing my homework following doctor´s advise thoroughly. Next ultrasound will be done in two weeks...so I am just waiting....

Hey everyone~ Hope all is well... We're in month # 4 of trying. I called my doctor yesterday to ask if we should consider upping the visit for IUI/IVF to sooner rather than waiting six months of ttc on our own. She wants me to have an HSG in mid May if we're not pregnant on this go round. It's been a couple of years since I had an HSG. Last time, I found out one tube was closed. However, we still got pregnant with the one tube that was open. I'm thinking...one possibility coule be that I may have a lot of scar tissue with the removal of 46 fibroids almost a year ago that could be causing my tubes to be closed, hence no conception. I've also heard that often women get pregnant immediately after having an HSG. In either event, I'm just happy that we have a new plan. Please share your HDG stories post myomectomy if you have any girls. Thanks! Sasha~

Hello everyone I met with my doctor on Monday and was told I need to have an abo myo. I knew it was just waiting for confirmation. I am going to schedule my surgery for May (don't know exactly when). I am so excited, scared, nervous all these things bunched up together. May God continue to Bless and keep us. Good luck to all who are trying and those who are pregnant.

KKMS, sorry to hear you are not pregnant this cycle, but you have next cycle to try :) I have bad nes, hubby's stuff is no good, pretty much bad all the way around. I don't know how to react, at the same time I have to remember he is going through this too, but I'm also so sad and can't help but to show it. Now what do we do? Will invitro help? Our insurance doesn't cover invitro and we sure don't have the money to pay for it. I don't think I would worry so much if I was not worried about fibroids coming back. It is like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. and everyone thinks they should know why I don't have any kids and when am I going to have kids, and what am I waiting for??? Why do people think it is OK to just ask these questions? OH well, I just say I'm not ready and I'm still young :) MsMonet I'm glad to see you and your babies are going well. My e-mail is joker062306 with yahaoo KM Williams, when are you schedule for your myo? Are you OK with it? Take Care everone, continue to post and let us know how you are doing.

Hi all,
I had my myo on 3/10 and am feeling really good this week. Almost back to my former self, except it still scares me when I sneeze because it just seems like something might tear! I had 3 fibroids removed - 1 10 cm and 2 smaller ones.
What a wake-up call! I'm 39 and thought I still had time to have kids....lol. Guess not. So now, it seems like this all happened for a reason, so I'm going to ttc with the love of my life that wants to try too. We are both older, so wish us luck! My follow-up appt is 4/15, so hopefully, I'll get a green light to ttc.
I think the worst part of recovery was having to sleep in my back! I'm so used to sleeping on my stomach or side. I can finally sleep on my side, but not yet on my stomach. I was a runner, so I miss that too, but it's nice to have an excuse not to exercise! ;-) I hope to follow in Ms Monet's footsteps...what a great story!

Joker, I am so sorry to hear about your husband! I know it is such a huge burden for you, also. When we did our first IUI and my husband's count was low they said that an IUI would be what they would do anyway. It only takes 1 sperm...ONE...so if there are ANY then it can happen. IVF will obviously be better b/c they can put that one sperm right into the egg, but IUI is cheaper. Talk to your Dr about these 2 options. Do another sample, though. Men make new sperm EVERYDAY so one day it may be bad and another day it may be better...have him drink a LOT of water (NO caffeine) and dont have s_x 3 days before. Try that "fertility blend for men" vitamins from GNC and see what happens with another test. Talk to your Dr and get him into see a urologist to see what BOTH of your options are. But really, do another sample...having 2 to compare will really be helpful. I had a friend whose husband had NOTHING, so he had surgery and they did IVF and now have a 9 month old. So, there are things that can be done. I know how your heart is hurting!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers...but dont let this stop you. Do your research and keep going!!

Hi everyone. Just posting an update. I had ab myo in January and everything went well. I had a menstrual cycle 2 weeks following the surgery and have now (to this date since surgery) had 3 periods. So everything is going well for me. My doc advised us to wait 3 to 4 months after post op appointment. So hub and I will be trying around the summer months which is not too far away. Our anniversary of being married is in June, so we have chosen to start trying in June to give my uterus good time to heal. Joker, I understand you with those questions because my hub went through the same thing and was told he would have to have surgery to correct the problem. But guess what?? God blessed him greatly and he did not have to have any surgery or any medicines. He started walking in park, exercising and taking vitamins and there are currently no signs of anything. Everything is working properly!!! God is so good. We prayed together and waited to see the salvation of the LORD. That is the only advice I can give as it relates to your story in that area. And, we were told the only thing left was for me to have the fibroids removed so that we could conceive. Now that has been taken care of, we are just waiting on our MIRACLE baby or babies! I love you all and keep the faith knowing that we will be changing those diapers soon!!!! Be encouraged everyone because there is light at the end of every tunnel. Congrats to MsMonet and everyone else also. We are next in line for our blessings!

Hello everyone. Joker I am sorry to hear about your husband but like the other ladies stated don't give up. This to shall pa__s and you will have your baby. Talk openly with you doctor about your options and God willing he will lead you in a direction which will benenfit you and your family. KKMS have fun trying next month : ) Lisa D good luck on your follow up appt I hope the doctor gives you the green light. As for me the person in charge of scheduling the surgery is out sick and I haven't been able to do so. I will try again on Monday. Joker to answer your question I am alright with the decision to have the surgery. The doctor told me I am a 10 cm on the outside of the uterus and a 5 or 6 cm near the cervix. When I first joined the forum I was so scared I just lost my daughter and I felt like all hope was gone for my husband and I but after reading the posts and working with the dr I feel like I have another chance. I am nervous don't get me wrong and as the days draw near it will reflect in my posts. However, I realized that God has a purpose for my life and he doesn't give any of us more than what we can handle. I am ready to LIVE again and if that means surgery then thats the chance I have to take. Good luck to all trying this month. IT ALWAYS HAPPENS WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT!!!! : )

Joker, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Don't lose hope though. God will make a way somehow! Remember...you got pregnant before with hubby and now that the fibroids are gone, you can still probably get pregnant again. It just may take some time. I'm praying for you and your husband! It will happen for you.

ALL-Hope all is well. Twins are great! JOKER-So sorry. If the count is really low, I know that he can take daily vits given by the doctor to increase sperm count. I will research more online... I am sorry but there is still hope, girl. You can still have your dream come true you may have to travel another route but that is OK. A delay is never denial. Be patient and pray for guidance. There are sperm donors... Adoption... Perhaps, a surgery for hubby. I know some who simply changed their diet... No drinking or smoking and lots of vitamins... In IVF, they give a nasty supplement that you mix in water... It actually smells like spem... Lol. It increases the sperm count. As far as the questions... I was there... Its annoying but I think family doesnt mean any harm... I thought the same as you and I just recently caught myself saying to someone what I hated others saying to me. Just keep your head up and tell them they will be the first to know when the time has come. Try not to focus on them and instead focus on you and hubby. KWILLIAMS-Wishing you all the best! Keep the faith! LISA-I wish all the best for you! I wish you better than me. We are always supposed to wish someone an even better or more terrific path! Girl, make sure you prepare your mind as if its going to happen. Go out and buy "What to expect When You are Expecting". Thats what I did. I claimed it. Keep the faith and have fun trying to conceive!! :O)

Joker a dear friend of mine from another thread gave this weapon when asked when my dh and I were going to start a family. She told me to ask them how much money they made last year. :o) Try it. Last year a girl I knew asked me that and when I said we are working on it she just kept going on and on and on even when she saw tears in my eyes...I told my friend from the other thread about that and she armed with that advice. Use it. it is going to happen joker it is!!! I do not know God's time table for you or for me but it will happen. I am actually going to do Clomid/IUI this month. Here is to praying it is my time.
