i want nother baby how comp is it ti got tubes untied

Well your chances of getting pregnant after a tubal ligation is about 1% according to OB/GYN doctors. Although I must admit I had my tubes tide on May 21st, 2005 about 12 weeks ago and I still havent had my period and I cramp just like I am going to get one and my b___bs are tender, could this mean that mine didnt work? It sure makes you wonder if your mind is just playing a cruel trick on you or you could seriously be pregnant. My mind has been thinking of this possibility for weeks now. Best of luck to you!

Well, my OBGYN said that 1 out of 100 tubal ligations fail. So, that is so rea__suring. He did not do my tubal, another doctor did. He said that he would not have done it because knowing my history, it probably will eventually fail. The doctor that did my tubal only took 1.5cm from each tube. So, that is not a lot at all. So, I am just waiting to see if it fails or not. My periods have been so erratic, that I never know if I am going to get it from month to month. Not to mention, I am still making milk and my baby is 16 month old. So, I am all messed up now. Hopefully in about two years, I am going to get my tubes untied and maybe try again. If not, I probably will feel like a new person. So, take care everyone and GOD Bless.

I had my tubes tied in 2003. My Dr. said he cut off quite a bit of the tube...BUT... I had a tubal pregnancy this past spring. My Dr said chances are 1 in 500....

my tubes were burned could i still get pregnet?

I had my tubes burned almost 2 years ago i have symptoms of being pregnet also i just feel it (can that be?)The only thing is I have had my period 2xs this month. can i be pregnet and also have a period?

To Tina - although it has been known to happen that a woman has a period and is pregnant, you may be pregnant and have had a miscarriage. Thus the reason for the 2 periods. You need to make an appointment w/ your dr. and have your HCG levels checked by blood test. Let them know all symptoms you have been having and the fact that you had 2 periods. Also if there was anything strange or different about these periods, or any unusual pain. Take care!

To Tina: I had my period like 3 x's in one month that I had the tubal pregnancy. The reason is that my uterus kept lining itself for waiting for the egg to drop. So if this is happening PLEASE take a pregnancy test as if you have a tubal it will test positive because your body has that hormone in it even with a tubal pregnancy. You don't want to go long with a tubal I went 12 weeks and could have died if my tube would have ruptured. So PLEASE take a pregnancy test.

HI I HAD A TUBAL LIAGATION IN 2003 AND SIX MONTHS LATER I FELL PREGNANT AND HAD A BABY BOY WITH TGA HE HAD SURGERY AND DIDNOT SURVIVE HE WAS 3.6 KG BELIEVE ME LIGATIONS CAN FAIL.

My pregnancy test had a line so faint that only my Aunt and I could see it by squinting. My hubby must have been in denial but 9 months later I had the boy I planned (s_x after ovulation). After my c-section I had my tubes tied. And this month was the first month I had s_x during ovulation (due to my hubbys work schedule) and I am very concerned about being pregnant. But I believe in Gods will. However I hope I am not considering I am an ultrasound tech and have seen alot of ectopics and it is a scary situation. So I will be taking a test in a few weeks and I advice anyone that thinks they MIGHT be pregnant ....spend the money, do the test, look for a faint line and PRAY. Good luck.

would ur period stop or u come every month til baby born

I just turned 39 and i had my tubes clamped. One clamp per tube 3 months after my baby was born. She is now 13. My last to periods i have had lasted just 2 days and i have many wierd symptoms. Not to sure if clamps are good everyone here mentions tied tubes and i have searched for imformation on the clamp precedure and found nothing.If anyone as anything to tell me please let me know. alittle scared and alot confused.
