Well, I am now 17 days late, blood test came up neg when I was 8 days late, but still feeling ill, tired, b___sts are starting to feel tender, just like b4 period. Very moody the last couple of days. Still wondering. I can't get into my ob dr until Jan 26 and the dr. where i live are all quacks, the one i saw for my blood test basically told me there was no way i could be pg.
Simone-I've also had c-sections, 4 of them, they got harder to recover from with each one. My last one, I started hyperventilating, never done that b4 or since, vomiting during surgery, I was terrified to every do that again, tied my tubes that day but my dr told me I could do more even with my reaction, he was not to happy with tying my tubes as he only delivered my 3 boys and kept forgetting that I had an older dd.

I think that the only safe choice to avoid pregnancy is abstinence and of course that is not going to go well in a marriage. I had my tubal done 4 months ago and i am now 1 wk late for my period and scared

ok well i have read these statements and i had my tubes tide with my baby back in 2003. and im really tramatized. i thought getting that done was so final. and honestly if i would have know that in just a few years that i could get PG again i would have never went with the trouble of doing it... its a waste of time.... in mean i go to the doc tomarrow at 2 but i have only ever been late three times in my life with the acception of this time and i have three boys.. i mean i guess im not going to be to upset really if i am because i love kids and would love to have more but not sayin its gonna be easy with already is whats going on with my life but, i would be happy and so would the boyfriend would like my girl finally but girl or boy or what ever the future holds for me i would be happy cuz our lives are all in gods hand and if thats what he has in store for me well then who and i to argue..but i will let you all know whats going all but as for now keep your head up and just remeber the sayin if god and take you to it he can take you threw it... ok... have a good one !!!!!

Well this isn't an answer but it is a question. I had a tubal with cautery done 6 years ago and I was 8 days late on my period so I took a hpt and it was positive. Of course I was shocked. But I then got what I thought was my period 3 days later but it only lasted for 3 days. So to set my mind at ease I took another test and it was positive again!! So I went to a clinic and their test came up negative!! What in the world is going on? I still have preg symptoms but no pain. Just a lot of bloating, being really tired, sensitive to smells, and just "feel" prego. Could there be another problem? I have no medical insurance so I can't go to a real Dr. and ask.

23 days late, I called the health line and talked to a nurse, she said that with all the different types of tubal ligation, clamping has the highest failure rate. So thats what I had 6.5 years ago. Going to the doctor again next week as my first blood test came back neg, but I need answers.

I have been reading this forum with interest for several months. I am one of several whom have had their tubes tied, and now regretting it. I have a beautiful 12 y/o daughter. My S/O has 2 daughters, as well. We would both love it if I became pregnant and have discussed having the tubal reversed. I do believe in miracles, and I hope for one for each and every one of us. With that said....I am now 5 days late. I know I was ovulating on Nov. 18, and I know that it is very possible I could be pregnant. I am trying hard not to get my hopes up and reminding myself that I will probably start in another day. However, I promised him that if I had not started by Monday, Dec. 12th that I would buy a pregnancy test. What a wonderful Christmas miracle it would be. Good luck to each and every one of you.

It is very common,it happened to me in nov 2005 , my tubes have been tied for 11 years. The baby was in my tubes. It was the worse pain ever.So ladies be careful and get checked if you think you are pregnant. It can be a life or death situation.

I am 41...... and I had my tubes tied ( not sure if they were burned) and also had CHF ( conjestive heart failure) almost 8 years ago..... after giving birth to my 4th child..... My husband I decided that we had enough kids and therefore I would have my tubes tied....... unfortunetly I wasn't diagnosed with CHF after the birth of the 4th child...... the doctor's were working on me like crazy...... I was coughing and gasping for air and literally fighting to stay alive...... they did all sorts of xrays and called in a pulmanoary specialist who discovered I had 7 liters of fluid in my lungs...... I went through a lot from that day...... that was Jan 5th 1998..... what happend was that I had an epidural for the birth...... after the delivery the doctor said " Ok we are ready for the tubal... is she still numb? " I then heard the anistheist say.." Not much.... we'll hit her up again" and all I remember then was WHAM! I fell back on the bed and started coughing and gasping for air...... my husband was totally freaking out..... well after several xrays they wheeled me into surgery and did the tubal anyways.... none of them knew it was CHF.....
I spent 2 weeks in the hospital in ICU and then was sent to a private room..... they were treating me for pnuemonia......
After being sent home...... within 2 weeks I was out of breath and my lower body started to swell...... my husband took me back to the pulmonary specialist ( who by the way was the one who dicoverd it was CHF.... my husband overheard the doc dictating into his recorder, my husband immediatly looked it up on line and it was describing all of my symptons) I was re-admitted and I spent another 2 weeks in the cardiolgy ICU where I was told I had a 50/50 chance..... I was hooked up to lots of meds and I was weighed the night I went in... 135 lbs..... after the first dose of Lasinex I urinated all of the retained fliuds..... the next morning I was wieghed again.... 116!
Well I did survive the CHF.......and as far as the tubal I never had any problems until now.....
I had my last major period in Sept..... and only spotted dark balckish blood in Oct for a day and a half..... since then no period...... I am craving foods, swollen belly and am really moody.... my stomache feels so full after only eating a small meal..... to the point I feel like a basketball is in there..... I do have mild cramping on both my lower sides... like gas..... I have an appt on Dec 27th.. but after reading most of the posts here I am calling tomorrow to see if I can be seen earlier... since there is a chance of a tubal pregnancy..... which that would be to be about 6 to 8 weeks along.....
My husband and I would love to have another baby..... especially a boy.... I have 2 older children ..... a girl (18) and a boy(16) from a previous marriage and 2 girls (10/ almost 8) from my current marraige..... so a another boy would be a blessing..... however when I was diagnosed with CHF I was told that having another baby could kill me.... and wouldnt be wise......
Anyway that is my story....... I never gave getting pregnant a thought after the tubal.... until a year or so again..... I have had dreams of babies...... and everytime I seem to be out somewhere I see more babies......
All I know is that Im desperate to find out.... whether it is meant to be or not.... I just have to find out soon.
To all of you who have posted here....... I want to thank you so much for being here..... it really has helped as far getting checked as soon as possible.
