Daniella-oh good, you are almost there! I am 23 weeks now and it feels like it is going FAST FAST FAST now! Before I felt like it was moving sooooo slooowlllyyy....:)

Daniella - October 6

Dani- I actually meant to say.... 9 weeks. I turned 9 weeks yesterday. My due date is May 11th. But, I calculated May 13, so we will see. Mother's Day is May 14th, so I can't wait. This will be our first. And it does feel like its going by SOOO slow. And these growing pains are getting bad. Especially if I jump out of bed too fast or make sudden movements. :(

Dani - October 7

Yes, once I hit 12 weeks it seemed to fly to now...I did have the pains too BAD! I went to the doc right away and everything was OK thank god but I was fine if I was just sitting there but if I got up, shooting pains on the right side. OUCH! I only had it for a day or two...

Daniella - October 7

Dani- yea, actually I had the shooting pains real bad one night at work and went to the hospital that night because I thought I was about to m/c or something. The hospital is within walking distance from my work. They did an ultrasound that night and that was when they picked up the first heart flicker. 5 weeks 6 days. I was sooo happy, but still worried about the pain. The dr. said that being pregnant its going to do a lot of weird things to your body, etc. But, my last pregnancy I was 12 weeks along when I miscarried and I never had any of those pains. So, I guess that since this one is going so great that maybe the pains are a good sign. Well, I am glad everything is also going great for you. Have you found out if your having a boy or girl yet?? You should also start that preg pool thing. I just started it and my family is getting into it.

My progesterone was 16.7 at 5.5 weeks and HCG was 24,000. At 8.5 weeks progesterone was 14 and HCG was 96,000. Doc put me on prometrium 400 mg at night. I have an ultrasound on mon morning. I can't wait. Do these numbers sound ok???

Daniella - October 8

The progesterone numbers sound fine. Anything over 13 in the first trimester is good... But, the HCG should double every 48 hours. So, that should be a lot higher, but you never know. I sure hope all goes well with your ultrasound. I have an ultrasound pic at 7 weeks 3 days and an ultrasound pic at 8 weeks 6 days if you want, just let me know and I'll email them to you so you have an idea. The ones on the internet dont seem so accurate and these I know the exact date of conception. Also, at 8 weeks there should be a strong heartbeat detected. At 7 weeks 3 days on mine, it was 166 bpm. Hope that helps!!

Erin - October 8

You're numbers sound like they got high quickly, but they do tend to not go up so much once they get up there, so maybe it's OK. Only the ultrasound will tell. I had great numbers, lots of nausea, sawy my baby and heartbeat at 8 weeks - at the 10 week ultrasound it was dead. Go figure. I've also had three other early, mc... all blighted ova. I do have one healthy daugher. So who knows. THis stuff is like black magic.

Erin- what was the heartbeat at, at 8 weeks? my last pregnancy we seen the heartbeat up until like 12 weeks, but it wouldn't ever get strong. Just a faint heartbeat. Whereas this one started to flicker at 5 weeks 6 days and at 7weeks 3 days it was so strong at 166. They say anything less than 90 by 8 weeks is considered high risk of a miscarriage.

Daniella - October 8

Also, at 5 weeks 6 days (same day we found a flicker in the heartbeat) my HCG was like 40,000+ and it was over 200,000 the time I hit 7 weeks. My last pregnancy my HCG went up real fast in the beginning and then only was going up but no longer doubling and my progesterone started dropping. Shortly after is when the heartbeat had stopped.

Alex - October 11

Thanks for your answers!!! Went for ultrasound, everything looked good they said. 169 bpm was the heartrate. I will have my progesterone tested again next week I think. I hope for the best, but I am relieved after the heartbeat. I will be 10 weeks tommorow.

Daniella - October 11

Alex, WOW! I will be 10 weeks in 2 days. LOL.. My due date is May 11th... haha.. And we checked the heartbeat at 7 weeks 3 days and it was at 166bpm. SOunds like your doing great!! Keep posted!!

Daniella - October 11

Alex, also... you really don't need to check your progesterone anymore. Well, at least once you hit 12 weeks, there is no point. The baby makes it on its own thru the placenta. I have "luteal phase defect" where my ovaries don't produce enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy and they even told me that they don't really need to test me anymore, because I'm just about in the clear since the baby is starting to make its own and everything is looking good. :)

Erin - October 13

Heart beat was strong, Daniella. Didn't matter. I was one of the unlucky 3%. I've been four times unlucky, three this year.

Daniella - October 14

Erin.... even though you say it was strong.. do you happen to remember what the bpm were?? I am sure you will be blessed again and have a healthy baby when the time is right. Try not to stress so much (I know, easier said than done) it will work out!!!!

Angela - October 18

I am waiting on the results of my progesterone levels, and a little nervous. I feel good cause my HCG are strong and still moving as they should. My progesterone was 12.7 last Monday, after being 20 two weeks ago and I am hoping it atleast went up some by yesterday. I have my first appt on Friday and I get an ultrasound, so I am sure I will feel better after that. Please keep me updated. Oh yeah I also have a luteal phase defect and started progesterone at 4 weeks, I am now 7 weeks.

Angela - October 18

So I got my results and my level is up to 22.4! I am very excited. I am only on 50mG suppositories, so I wasn't sure it was enough. Seems to be doing its job. I will stay on them through 12 weeks.
