hey everyone, i'm hoping someone out there can shed some light my way. i had an ultrasound done last week at 5w5d and the sac they saw was an elongated oval shape, not round as expected. They say it's either too early too tell anything, and the fluid could be blood from implantation. Or, and more likely, I am going to have a miscarriage if it's a sac that is irregularly shaped. Has anyone gone through a funny shaped sac before? Please let me know, good news or bad - thanks

I was told by a couple of different doctors that I had an ectopic pregnancy because of this reason, but after I went to another doctor, I was told that everything was normal. I wouldn't worry. You and your baby will probably be fine.
