Bleeding Starting And Stopping

I stopped bleeding about 3 weeks after giving birth. But now, a week later, I've begun to bleed again. It's very much like a period instead of the postpartum bleeding I had. The birth was normal with very little tearing but I started having s_x a few days ago with no pain. Is this normal or should I be going to the dr.?

I just posted something similar to another women, but here goes -- you are probably doing too much too soon after having a baby. You definitely should wait until 6 weeks pp to have s_x (that's what most doctors recommend, and there is a reason for it). My best guess is that you're making the same mistake I did, lol -- I had an easy birth and was up and doing too much at home and with the baby. And I started bleeding again, after having stopped. Take it easy for a while, lay off the s_x (apologies to your DH, lol!) so you aren't irritating your cervix any more, and see what happens. If it smells funny, if it's very clotty, or if you're concerned, don't be afraid to call your doc/nurse. But yes, it's probably nothing and it's very normal. Good luck!
