Hello Ladies, how are you doing? I hope you're enjoy motherhood as much as I and I hope you're enjoying your little ones as much and I am enjoying mine. She is truly a blessing to our family. Anyhow, my DD just turned 10wks and I am loving every bit of motherhood and would do it again but not too soon. DH and I were thinking maybe in a year and a half or so before my we try again. Currently we're not using a steady method of BC (we're against drugs in our bodies unless it's to save our lives LOL). And, we don't like condoms at all. I know...can't have it both ways. Anyhow, we've BDed a few times already and I would say I had my first period as well on Jan 6th. It was very normal. I'm writing to find out if there's anyone else going through this dilemma. We would love to use a BC if it's natural (with no drugs involve). Anything that homeopathic would be awesome. I love my DH and I love being intimate with him however, lately, the thought of getting pregnant again just won't leave my mind. Thank you for your time. ~Peace, Love & Blessings~

USE CONTRACEPTION. I just found out after 2 months of having my 1st one, that we're pregnant again. Thought the SAME thinng. In a year or 2 we definately want another. Never thought it would happen again so soon. Well, it did. And now that it's sunken in, I'm SO excited and happy that they'll be close in age. So happy that I'll stay on the roll that I'm on as far as diaper changing and bottle feeding. Why wait and be THAT much older and more tired, right?? Not for everyone as my energy level is pretty emmense and I've had a VERY easy pregnancy, labor and baby so I'm cool with it right away now. But MOST women are not, and I definately know that, so take your time with it because it can happen very quickly afterwards. Use contraception and wait untilo you're ready because it is emotional and of course physical, and if you don't think you can handle or even wnat another so soon, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. A year or 2 or 3 if fine. Just be careful. You're more fertile now!!!!!

My husbands parents did not believe in contraception, i think for religious reasons and all 5 kids are close in age since his mom kept getting pregnant only 2-4 months after having a baby. it turned out great because they are close in age and his parents are not raising any teenagers at this point since they are all grown up. it's tough if you don't have a form of contraception.. I hope it all works out well for you and congrats on your new baby!

Venus, have you looked into charting? A lot of women use it to try and get pregnant but it works well to avoid pregnancy too. Basically you use a combination of things (temps., cervical position, v____al discharge, and other things) to determine your most fertil time of month and in doing so you would know when to avoid s_x. You can look it up online and even print of charts. It involves no drugs of any kind, you could also add a bit of protection by using a diaphram in addition. Alone i wouldn't trust them but with another form of b/c i think they are a good option.

Thank you ladies for your honest responses. I really appreciate it.........Alirenee, congratulation on baby #2! I'm sure you were shocked when you found out you were pregnant again. YIKES! Good luck with everything! Oh, and the answer to your question regarding withdrawal is "No" We have not been doing that the few times we BDed. I know I'm playing with fire here and I shouldn't only because we're not ready for another child just yet. LOL!.............Krissy, I charted for a year before I got pregnant. I am aware of the benefits of charting and plan on doing that. I was just waiting for a couple more periods to get a pattern before I start. I will pa__s on the diaphragm....those things are toxic LOL! Thanks again ladies!

So, my second period started yesterday and I'm very happy about that. It looks like I'm back to my 28 day cycle after all. I hope it stays that way. I'm using mymonthlycycles for now to keep things on track. Take care y'all.
