My feet when up a size when I was pregnant. I know most women's go back to normal but some say the same size -- but how long should you have to wait? DD is almost 7 months now and I had to break down and buy a pair of *men's* size 8 1/2 just to find something that would fit. Also, does anyone know if your feet could go up another shoe size if you have another kid (and your feet never returned to normal)? Woman's size 11 is already difficult to find -- I'd have some serious problems trying to find a 12 without driving to speciality stores.

I have had four kids and mine went from a size eight to a size nine when my first was born. They never went up again.

Well that's certainly promising, thanks! I'd mentioned it to someone else and they said they gained 1/2 a size with both of her kids so I was a little worried. It wouldn't be a problem if I was only a size 6 to start off with. :)

MIne only went up 1 size - and I am baby number 3 I went from 6.5 to 7.5 all is well....don't worry - if you lose all of your weight there is a chance they could go back to pre-pregnancy

Mine went from a 8 to a 9 after my son was born...then I had my daughter 20 months after my son. She is 10 months old now and my feet actually went back down to a 8. I had bought all new shoes because my feet were a 9 for like 2 years and now they are back to 8. Goodluck! There is always a chance they will shrink back down!! : )

That would just be my luck since I donated about 25 pairs of shoes to charity. I hate shoe shopping so some of those pairs were more than 10 years old. :)

Yes mine went up too, from a 9.5/10 (depending on the shoe) to a solid 10. Shopping for shoes is always hard for me, so it must be a nightmare for you. I am 10 months pp, i don't think they are going back down but i have heard they won't go up anymore, i hope that is true.

That's weird, I've never heard of shoe size going up when pregnant! Now that I think about it I went from a size 8.5 to a 9 after I had my first! I didn't realize it though because I was 17 years old when I had her and I've also grown almost an inch since then too. I've had 2 more since then and I'm still a 9.
