Lactose Intolerant

i am lactose intolerant but during my pregnancy i could eat dairy with no problems. now that i'm two weeks pp i can't eat it anymore. anyone else have the same problem??? also wondering if lactose intolerant moms usually have lactose intolerant babies

I'm the same as you..i'm also lactose intolerant, could eat loads of dairy during my pregnancy and now I just don't seem to be able to tolerate it anymore - all the usual signs and symptoms are back..It's not for sure that our babies will be lactose intolerant, but there is a higher chance for them to develop allergies, and intolerances towards certain foods. It is therefore recommended that if you are bf, you avoid all dairy alltogether and that you don't give your child any either until he/she is over 18 months old, to reduce the chances of them developing the same intolerances as you. I too was lactose intolerent before my first child, then about 3 months into the pregnancy I could eat any dairy I wanted, and still can 11 years and 2 more babies after.
