I have had very bad bladder pain since I had my baby 3 months ago.. I have been on antiobotics for 2 months now . I had a calture of my urine done and I don't have an infection.. I had a very tramatic birth with the baby being born breech. I am starting to think the birth caused damage to my bladded in some way.. My bladder always burns and I feel sick to my stomach from it. I feel like I have to pee and then nothing comes out.. I went to the DR and he seems to think I should wait it out and see if it gets better ofver time, but for gosh sake the baby is already 3 months old.. I can't take the discomfort any longer.. Are any of you other ladies having this problem??? Thanks, Mich__le

Michelle-I totally understand how frustrated you must be. I am still PG and looking for answers about my bladder. I've been having nasty bladder pain/issues since my 2nd month of PGcy. Not alot of ppl seem to have this problem. I went to several urologists, and one actually seemed to think that I had a chronic bladder condition called interst_tial cyst_tis...I didn't have this before PGcy at all. I'm very scared, and I understand why you are. Most of my docs say that it's nothing, but I don't know. Please see a urologist....fast. Don't listen to your dr. he's not in pain. I'm scared too. If you want to email me,let me know. I'm always available to talk.

Hi, I am sorry you are having bladder issues. I had 4 c-sections and my bladder got injured from them. I lived with bladder spasms and extreme urinary frequency for years before they finally gave me a hysterectomy because my bladder was scarred to my uterus. I also suggest they check you for kidney issues. I have another question that may seem odd, but it happened to me. Do you drink diet soft drinks that have aspartame (Equal), or Sweet 'n Low (saccharine) in them? After my hysterectomy I noticed that some of my bladder problems were still there and then I had a bit of blood in my urine. I was sent to a urologist who took a look inside my bladder (a cystoscopy exam) and she found my entire bladder lining was red and inflamed. We went through all my dietary intakes and lo and behold, I used Equal on my cereal and in my coffee, used articially sweetened products, etc. everyday. It turns out that I was very allergic to those and it caused constant bladder spasms and symptoms of urinary tract infections. I switched to Splenda and I have had VERY few instances since. Check all labels of the food, etc. that you take in, try to completely eliminate those products for a week or two and see if it helps. Good luck.
