Hi everyone, I'm am off the pill this month and getting ready to ttc in December.... When I was ttc my son 2 years ago, it took me 5 months to ovulate again (i was on the pill 7 years prior to that).. I have been on the pill again now only 7 months...so maybe it won't take as long to get back to normal.. Anyone else???

Hi k. I too just came off the pill to ttc my second child. I was on the pill for about three years when I initially came off and my cycle was regular straight away. It took my husband and I six months to conceive our son who is now 19 months. I have had one period since coming off the pill and don't think I ovulated that month (I used the predictor kits and never got a positive). I was one two different pills, so I'm guessing thats why. I'm hoping to ovulate this month. Hpeflly, having only been on the pill for 7 months will help you as well. Good luck.

I just went off the pill last month after being on it for 6 months. I had Mirena prior to that. I was beginning to think I was pregnant this week but when I looked at the calendar I am actually ovulating. Good luck!
