How Do I Know When I Ve Reached Another Month

i know that they usually calcualte your pregnancy by weeks, but how do i know how many weeks equal another month according to the official charts?

Hi Keikei.. well I have a few different pregnancy books and alot of them contradict eachother! this is what one of my better books says.... Month one (0-4 wks), Month 2 (5-8),month 3 (9-13), month 4 (14-17), month 5 (18-21),month 6 (22-26),month 7 (27-30),month 8 (31-35),month 9 (36-40)..hope it helps!!! xxx

well, I always consider it this way - if your last menstrual period was jan 1st, then you'd be another month along every month on the 1st, so feb 1st you would be 1 month, mar 1st you'd be 2 months, etc. You'll notice based on this, mellycat's weeks to months are also correct. I'm 12 weeks, but wont be 3 months until between weeks13-14 (I'll be 13 weeks and 1 day when I'm 3 months preg.

I forgot to mention - when you are exactly 2 months pregnant, you are in your 3rd month. so if you are 2 months and 1 week, you are actually in your 3rd month. Thats why mellycat wrote month 1 is 0-4 weeks, you arent a month yet, but you are in your first month.
