I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's been 4 months since my D&C after we lost the baby at 10 weeks. I can tell you it gets easier, but don't let anyone tell you how to feel or how long to wait before trying. When you and your fiance feel the time is right for you both, emotionally and physically, then go for it! Otherwise, enjoy each other and the time you have together now before TTC again. I have heard so many conflicting stories on when you should TTC after a D&C - some docs say wait until you have at least one period, others say three, others say try right away. There should be a week window of no s_x, douching, or tampons, but many people get pregnant shortly thereafter. When your body is ready to carry a baby, it will. I have learned that most of it is out of your control no matter how badly we want to control the situation and the timing of pregnancy. Good luck in the near future for you and your fiance...good things come to those who wait.

I had a miscarriage on 3/11/2012. I didn't need an D&C. I think the best time to start again is when you are emotionally really. This could be as soon as your next ovulative cycle or a year from the MC; every woman is different. I'm still waiting for my period to start, but I have decided to try again. I used the day of the MC as the start date to estimate my fertile days and ovulation days for April 2012. I'm also tracking my BBT tempature and using an ovulation test to track my best days to conceive. Hopefully I will have a positive pregnancy test for May 2012. Wish me lucl :0 ) So far no luck
