Blighted Ovum And Waiting To Miscarry Symptoms

Hi, I have a Blighted Ovum and the doctors are waiting 1 more week to see if I miscarry on my own. I am having some dark red clots pass when I use the washroom and notice some dark blood when I wipe? Am I miscarrying? I have no pain and there is no heavy bleeding? I called the doctor and I was told only call if I am bleeding heavily? I have never had a miscarriage so I am unsure what to expect, any help would be appreciated. May God bless you all and thanks.

If the doctor said you have a blighted ovum that means that your pregnancy was not successful and the baby stopped growing some time ago but your body still thinks it's pregnant becuase the placenta is still growing and producing pregnancy horemons. How far along should you be now? If you miscarry on your own that means that the placenta will detach and come out on it's own. Which is a good sign because your body is regulating on it's own. These 2 websites give you a lot of good information on blighted ovum. You should know that this has nothign to do with what you may or may not have done. blighted ovum usually happens when there is an irregular chromosome and the baby stops growing. check out these site for more info....also leve the dashes - out but any underscores_ should stay in: http://www.geocities.com/tweety1137/blightedovum.html the other is http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancycomplications/blightedovum.html
