I miscarried and then had a normal period. It is past due for my 2nd period but I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative.We've been using condoms because we wanted to wait a couple months before trying again. what should I do? Am I pregnant? when should I take another test?

After a miscarriage your bodies cycle is not quite insync yet. It could just be delayed; especially if you have been using condoms and there is no chance for you to be pregnant. However, sometimes condoms leak so , a negative pregnancy test does not mean you are not pregnant either. Most test should have detected the pregnancy hormones after a missed period, however, trying again a week later would be good. If you cannot wait, you can ask your doctor to schedule a blood test for you. I have heard that some women do not even know until two months later.. so here's wishing you luck. But yes, try again in another week.
