On June 2nd (I was 13 weeks pregnant) and I went for an ultra sound assuming everything was normal. I had my husband and our 8 year old daughter in the waiting room. The technician started the ultra sound and then told me that there was a problem and she would need to do an internal ultra sound. I could see my baby on the screen but there was no heart beat. The tech kept telling me that she couldn't tell me if there was anything wrong. I told her that my husband and daughter were in the waiting room so either they were coming in to see the baby on the monitor or they weren't. And if they weren't then i would know that there was something wrong. She then told me that she was done and I would have to get dressed and it was time to go. I was so devistated. I sent my husband a text message to tell him that there was a problem with the baby, so he didn't question me in front of our daughter. I didn't want to upset her but knew my husband could handle the text. We talked with our daughter in the parking lot of the hospital. She was so upset On June 8th I went into labor and delivered the baby in the emergency room, and then had a dnc on June 10th to ensure everything was good. I would have been 14 weeks by then. I have yet to get my period and was wondering if anyone else has waited this long. It has now been 50 days (7 weeks today) since my dnc and still no sign of my period. Does anyone know if this is normal, or has had a simular experience?
