Pregnancy Info HOME

I last had my period on the 6th of June. I was happily 7 weeks pregnant until 2 weeks ago when i started bleeding. I went to the doctor and had a blood test and u/s. the blood test showed i had levels at 400 or something like that and they couldnt find the baby on the u/s until they did an internal and found a sac that showed that it was 4-5 weeks. so i had a blood test the following week with levels over 600 so i thought it was strange that the baby was a couple of weeks behind but didnt think too much of it. I had a blood test again today and levels had dropped to 400. My doctor says i have to wait until next week to have an ultrasound to know for sure that ive had a miscarriage. So now im waiting for a whole other week,, how can this be? surely i must of had a miscarriage or my levels would be improving? help so i can get my head around this.
