It all started on April 5th. My period started as "normal" but oddly, it did not stop (it varied in heaviness). On the 19th, I went to my doctor to have my IUD removed (I felt that the IUD was partially expelled and the Dr. confirmed this). She did not give me a pregnancy test. Well, the bleeding slowed after the IUD removal but, then started right back up again. On the 25th I decided to take a pregnancy test because...it just felt like it could be. Well, it was positive (two of them were!) and today I went to the ER because I was still bleeding and although it is not heavier...it is bright red blood, no tissue in the blood and light cramping (which could be from my constipation). The ER doc, confirmed my pregnancy and said that my HcG levels were at 500 and the chances of me keeping the baby at this stage is slim...I need to know if anyone has had experiences like this...And what happened? The doc says that I'm only about 3 weeks pregnant but, I read online that HcG levels of 500 indicate 5 weeks along. Just hoping to hear some positive experiences before I burst!
