I am so sorry to hear that, In my opinion if you are having any doubts at all about what your doctor is telling you should go get another ultrasound before you make any decisions. If there is still no heartbeat detected then you can make your decision from there because there should be one by 10 weeks. I just recently went through a similar situation but I was almost 17 weeks and I had already had one ultrasound with a healthy heartbeat and heard it on the doppler but then at my 4 month check up the heartbeat could no longer be detected - I had no signs of anything wrong at all and I did get a second ultrasound which showed the same thing so I had to have my labor induced and delivered my little girl on Monday. I was also given the option by my doctor to not do anything and let my body do things naturally but I was told that could take a month and I couldn't bear to wait that long. But you should definalty be sure about whatever you decide to do. I wish you the best of luck and if you need someone to talk to feel free to let me know.
