I started losing my baby last tuesday at 8 weeks, i went to hospital and they done a D&C the following day. I really wanted to be a mum, is it true im more fetile now after the D&C?

Baby- so sorry for your loss. I know what it is like my son would have been due this week. But to try to answer your question, I think it depends on several factors like how agreesive did they perform the d&c and if he lining is capable of supporting an egg this soon. Also, are your hcg levels back to normal - you can take a preg test and it may still come back positive. Also, if you were on clomid then you need a__sistance in ovulating and your dr. may want to wait till you have a couple normal cycles to put you back on. With all that being said, I know many women who get pg shortly after an m/c. I happened not to be like them but it is possible. I wish you all the best. Keep me posted.

I would like to know if anybody had any luck getting pregnant after having a hysteerscopic d&c procedure & how long did it take I had the procedure done on 2/1/2010 I had a lite period in Febuary & a regular kind of heavy period in March ready to conceive I have been trying for over 20 yrs now I have a 21yr & have never been pregnant since then can any one help me Im going to try again this month & hope I have luck in conceiving

Hi. I am new on here and just wanted to share my experience. I had a D&C 5 weeks ago. I was 11 weeks pregnant but baby had stopped developing at 9 weeks. I am living in Greece at the moment and had to have the procedure done over here, which increased my worries of anything going wrong. The bleeding stopped after 1 week and I completed the course of pills they gave me. I still havent ahd a period and thought I would have had this by now? Everything seemed to be OK until about a week and a half ago when I started experiencing really bad stomach cramps. They don't feel like when I am expecting a period, different. Me and my partner have been having un protected s_x but I really don't think Im pregnant. I would love to be again but thats not what I think it is. I feel like everything is really swollen and bloated. I have had really bad diarrhea and a large amount of discharge as well as back pain. My nipples have been feeling a little sore and irritated. (OK now when I write it, its all pregnancy symptoms, but I really don't feel thats what it is) None of this feels like my previous pregnancy symptoms. I do have a history of bacterial vaginosis. No apparent reason, even when not s_xually active so maybe this has occured during the D&C? As I am still living abroad (and the hospitals/doctors are not the best over here) I really dont want to have to go back. Do you think I could be pregnant again or I have got an infection after the D&C?

i had a dnc 3 weeks ago which i took a pregnancy test 2 days after and it showed up as a neg pregnancy test now ive started to feel sick again and redone a pregnancy test 3 came up pos which i done with the morning urine and the other one came up neg which was late afternoon i have not had a period yet ive been told 2 wait 2 weeks as if i need a scan than the baby will show up but am so confushed am i pregnant so quickly after the dnc.

i had a miscarriage march 2010 and ever since i've been trying to conceive but up till now nothing as happened.i had my miscarriage at week 8 of my pregnancy and the doctor said i should keep trying and am begining to get worried,i never thought it will stay so long before geting pregnant again.please i need someone to give some advice on what to do.Thanks
