Getting Pregnant After A D C

Hi, i recently had to do through a D&C on the 4th of feb at 10/5 after it was discovered that the baby i was carrying stopped growing at 8/5. I bleed for about a week on and off after the procedure. my partner and i want to get back on the band wagon (so to speak) as soon as possible. I think i might already be pregnant, but am dissbelieving as it surely can't happen that fast. anyone got any advise or stories to share please do.

I had my m/c and D&C last July and since it was my first pregnancy, I waited 3 cycles to start TTC. We started TTC again in November and I just got a BFP on 2/23! Usually the Dr's say to wait for one cycle before trying again but I heard thats to also make it easier to determine your due date because they use the date of your last period to figure out your due date. good luck!

Hello,
I just had a D&C this past Friday Feb. 26th, I was 11 weeks along with my first. We couldn't find the heart beat at my doctors visit the day before. The baby apparently stopped growing at 9 weeks. Hardest thing we have ever been through. Luckily my doctor told me that we can start trying after my next period. And nothing is impossible, I have heard of couples getting pregnant right after a D&C, so maybe you are! Good luck with everything! I completely understand the insane desire to be pregnant again. I totally miss it and wish we could get pregnant tomorrow : )
