I found out i was pregnant a couple of weeks ago. The doctor told us that according to pregnancy hormone in my blood i was about 3 weeks pregnant, but according to my last period I should be about 9 weeks. I had stoped taking my birth control pills a month before we got pregnant, so the doctor said my period might have been irregular because of that.
We went for an ultrasound last week and a different doctor couldnt find a heartbeat, so she said it was miscarriage. Because the baby was about 3 weeks toopregnant small...which makes sense with what the previous doctor told us. She didnt really wanna hear that but did some blood work to makeu to make sure it was a miscarriage. The results came out to be positive for the pregnancy. She still says it is a miscarriage, but I never had any bleeding or cramping. I know we are probably getting false hopes but is there a chance it could have been to early for a heartbeat? My br___ts are still tender, and i still feel nauseus at times.

hi spash, I hope all is well for you.My experience , I had my first scan at 8 weeks, no heartbeat, baby measuring 5.5 weeks.. not told I was having a miscarriage/possibility.. I had next scan week later, as I had few unusual pains, not bleeding yet, still no heartbeat, told it had grown abit, 6.5 weeks, but not what should be at 9 weeks. I statred bleeding, light at first, in and out of hospital for 2 days, still not told a miscarriage till 3rd day, I woke up and too much blood.. back to hospital, then they booked me in for a DC ( did not want one though), but went into labour by the time I got into the room. delivered naturally and all went well. I was more frustrated that no-one confirmed that I was miscarrying.. In response to your feeling of nausea and b.tenderness, well, mine was still there, but I had noticed they dropped off abit in the 2 weeks prior to MC, and was not getting stonger. My thoughts are with you, and hope that you are okay. scatcat xx
