Hi ladies. I am two months along and things are progressing well thus far. The only problem I've had to face is my prenatal vitamin making me absolutely sick. My next appointment is on the 28th of this month so I will be sure to keep those who are interested updated. ***Christi***...I know how you feel. I am past the point of my last miscarriage, but I still have some feelings of anxiety at times. I pray that all will go well for all of the "preggars" on this strand. Lord knows we deserve it!!! For those who are ttc after a miscarriage...take your time and let nature take it's course. Don't become so wrapped up in this that you don't enjoy the process. Much babydust to all!!!!

Hi, Yvonne! Glad to hear all is going well. My chewable prenatal vitamins made me sick so I switched to regular hard pills. The hard pills sometimes make me nauseous if I take them in the morning, and since you have to take them on an empty stomach and wait an hour before eating, I would feel sick all the way to work. I started taking them at night right before I go to bed, and then I just eat breakfast (even if it is on the way to work) so I don't have that problem anymore. My sister said she did the same thing.

Hello Helene....thank you so much for the advice. I am taking a capsule prenatal vitamin. I tried taking it before bed once before, but it honestly seemed as though it gave me a sudden boost of energy, and I wasn't able to sleep at all that night. I told myself that I wouldn't make that mistake again. I have now began taking the vitamin before eating lunch. It has proven to work fairly decently, but then I have the most disgusting taste in my mouth while eating lunch. I think that I am going to ask my doctor for a different prescription. I hope that all is going well for you!!!!

BTW Helene...I finally attempted to go into the new thread, but I am unable to. I attempted to do a copy and paste of the url that was posted in an earlier post, and it worked to no avail. What is the correct url?

LMAO! Bee about your dogs! Thanks! Yvonne, I tried to get into it just now and it still showed my post from two days ago. I tried the refresh b___ton, and it didn't help. I figure I will try again tomorrow or something.

Yvonne- I got sick 4 times my whole pregnancy and 3 of them is because I took my vitamins with something other than milk. I feel fine when I take them with milk. The one day I ran out and took them with juice, ran out the door to work, jumped in a cab.... I almost got sick in the cab on the way. It was awful. Especially sitting there in traffic with the fumes of the vehicles, etc. Glad I'm over all that sickness feeling. You shouldn't have much more to go of it if you are 2 months already. So, good luck on that!! Christi** Congrats!!! When do you go in yet again?? Well, its 6 am in Chicago and I find out the s_x at noon. Can't wait!! I'll post when I get back. They are also doing the whole anatomy ultrasound where its about a 45 min. process, so which me well that they don't find anything bad. I don't know that I can take that kind of pain again.

Christi - December 14

Daniella~ I go again on December 28th. I don't think they will do an ultrasound, but I might ask them to. What is the whole anatomy u/s? Good luck today! Let us know!!

Daniella - December 14

Christi- an anatomy ultrasound is where they check all your female insides, like your cervix, ovaries, uterus, etc. THEN do all measurements to your female organs, the placenta and the baby. Also, they check for any abnormalities, like down syndrome, etc. and to make sure all the babies organs are fully inside the body, etc., etc. Just all that wonderful jazz!! Whole thing takes about 45 mins. and they usually do it somewhere between 18-22 weeks. Oh, and you can find out the gender if you want to know and if the baby is cooperating. hehe.

Christi - December 14

Sound like fun! Can't wait!

Yvonne - December 14

Hey ladies....***Danielle***, my prenatal vitamin label says that it should be taken with plenty of water. I hadn't thought about taking it with anything other than that. It sounds like milk may be a wonderful suggestion, I will try it. I'm sure you are super excited about finding out the s_x of your little one!!! I will send up a prayer for you at this moment that all goes well. ***Christi****, my next appointment is December 28th as well. This will actually be my first ultrasound as the doctor had to step out of the office suddenly my last visit...another patient went into labor. He was so apologetic, but I understood. I will be that patient who needs him to hightail it over to the hospital in the future as well. Has anyone by any chance found decent video footage of fetal development online? I watched the footage that I think Helene posted a url to. I am interested in watching such videos. At any rate....continued blessings to everyone!!!

UPDATE: I'M PREGNANT!!! And totally freaked out. We weren't trying this month because I was supposed to have a procedure done on my cervix for dysplasia which can't be done if you're pregnant. I was supposed to have the procedure today so I wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant before I went ahead with it. I'm so scared that it's going to be a blighted ovum like last time! Daniella, I'm so excited for you and so glad everything is going so well! How did you deal with the fear at the beginning?

Daniella - December 14

Well..... I was going to hold off on telling the gender due to the preg pool, but everyone is going to guess again anyhow, so it doesn't matter. So on that note, Its a boy!! :) New due date is May 8th. So, 3 days earlier. We know our exact date of conception, so its better that he's measuring slightly bigger. He also weighs 11oz. right now. :) Mrs D- that is absolutely wonderful!! and it doesn't get easy until you either pa__s the point of your furthest miscarriage, or you see a strong heartbeat with the baby moving all around. I didn't relax until about 12 weeks. I just turned 19 weeks now and everythings great. The measurements came back about 20 weeks. Yet, they will probably change again. lol. I only gained 2 pounds so far though, yet the baby is weighing absolutely great so thats good. They said It will probably catch up to me as I get further. Anyhow, just thought I would let you know. The best thing that has ever happened is getting pregnant so soon after my D&C. I truly believe that when the body is ready, it will happen. Mrs D- I did the same thing. I wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant either, and low and behold... LOL...

Mrs. D - December 15

Daniella, that is so wonderful! A healthy baby boy! How exciting! Do you have a name yet?
