Jae, I am very sorry for your loss. You have come to a right place, the ladies here are understanding and helpful. I dont really know much about the hcg levels. But I have read that those who have had a stillbirth are likely to take time for AF to come. This is because the body takes time to go back to normal ie the hormones for preg will still be there for some time. You should always stay positive and have faith that you will conceive again and carry it to term. Ofcourse it wont be the same baby because this one was unique. I am wishing you a quick recovery. Read whatever you find about m/c & stillbirth it helps. It has helped me to understand what happened to me despite that a day does not pa__s without thinking about my baby. Good luck

Hello ladies, please be aware that stress may delay AF. So relax and try not to stress the arrival.

hello everyone I just wanted to share a poem someone gave me at my daughters funeral I find it warming so I hope you all enjoy it We named our daughter Kiersten
When you think of your baby girl,
Little Kiersten with golden curls,
Precious infant daughter in pink and lace,
Big bright eyes and the cutest face,
Comfort yourself shes safe at rest,
Cradled on gods own loving b___st,
Your arms are empty, your heart is broken,
But god wanted her there and he has spoken,
He knows you hurt he knows you ache,
But neither would he make a mistake,
Your daughter is loved, safe and sound,
Sleeping with angels hovering all around,
God does care, He has a plan,
Maybe not that we understand,
Try not to question, just trust his grace,
Kiersten is in his chosen place,
He sees the future, he knows what awaits,
She'll be waiting for you at heavens gate,
Arms outstrecthed, dressed in pink and lace,
"I Love you, Mommy, Come See Our New Place"
Kay, how long ago was your loss? I think I might call my Dr. to get some relief to help me sleep last night I woke up all of the time and I still catch myself sleeping with one leg over the body pillow like im still pregnant. im hoping it gets better soon and thanks for the prayers I deffinitely need them as I will be keeping you in my prayers as well Best of luck to you and you to dont give up.

I had a m/c July 8 and THINK I now have my period today (August 5). I spotted a tiny bit for one day earlier in the week and now am bleeding pretty steadily, but after reading everyone's questions/comments and talking to my doctor whom I respect, and believe me ladies I grilled for information quite a bit last week I see that getting your period, ovulating and conceiving again is very individual. I came out and asked my doctor about if it is necessary to wait two or three cycles to get pregnant again. He said that miscarriages are more likely at the vulnerable time right after. I trust him, so I offer this information: Our own bodies process the m/c the way they do. There is no set time you bleed and your cycle continues into a period.
It's great to read how everyone feels like I do...Getting my period is like Christmas or something. I was jumping for joy! ( And now after reading all this I hope it's real). We just want to get back to normal and resume our lives.

Jae, That was a beautiful poem. I am sorry for your lost. It is so good that we can speak to each other through these troubled times. I was 6 weeks and I lost my baby on the 14th of June. AF arrived about 2 weeks ago. AF was about 32 days.
To help me sleep, I usually use a lavender body wash at night and pop in an old movie. That only works sometimes. I often find myself falling asleep in the middle of the movie and waking up towards the end and not being able to fall asleep again for the rest of the night.

I had a D&C on May 31st and bled for 4 weeks. Then ovulated 2 weeks later. My husband and I TTC but to no avail. I got my period 2 1/2 weeks ago and I am still bleeding. I should have ovulated again yesterday but it didn't happen. It looks like I am just still recovering from the procedure. I am going to my OB on Tuesday since bleeding has not stopped. I am just getting so impatient having to wait another several weeks to try again...my s_x life is hurting too with bleeding 7 out of the last 9 weeks!!
I am trying to be strong as I attend friends baby showers but it is just a constant reminder that I miscarried...can anyone else relate to these feelings??
