Bee, thanks for the Honesty-its very refreshing! beth & bee... i did not have a d&c b/c my levels dropped quickly down and i was so upset i never went back for the final blood test to confirm they were at 0. I am now on my third af since m/c. My doc said it could be hormone imbalance from m/c (blood test since then said (-), or there is still tissue left, though all my levels are normal/zero as of the recent blood test, so not sure how that is poss. Have a ultrasound sched for this thurs the 25th-not exactly how i imagined my first one :( ! If anyone has any suggestions, feel free. I will keep you posted, beth/bee and let you know what happens thurs...

Thanks Kay & Jen. BTW I did not have a d&c either. I saw my ob/gyn today, she did a pelvic exam & told me everything checked out okay even though she could see that I still had some brownish blood inside. I was worried she was going to say I had infection because of the on & off bleeding and spotting. She said that sometimes this does happen and that it's possible to see some spotting (red or brown) between periods for a couple of months after a miscarriage. Still waiting for that first "normal" period to come. Jen, I'll keep my fingers crossed that your u/s on Thurs will show that everything is fine.

Hi Ladies, I was 4 and 1/2 months pregnant when we found out that our baby would be handicapped if we went through to term. It was a very tough decision, but we terminated the pregnancy. I had to have an emergency D&C cuz the placenta was not coming out. Now I have been waiting approx. 6 weeks for my period. I have brownish/pinkish discharge, and am wondering if this is normal. I have read the other posts, and some ladies have waited up to 8 weeks. I think if I don't get anything by end of this week, will contact my Dr. It is nice to have things like this to go to when wondering if things are ok. And nice to see that so many women are supportive, and have gone through the ssame thing I have. Thanks for the support ladies!!

KellyLemky, Yes it is wonderful. Suffering is always better with company. Your situation is not that musch different from the rest of us. We all waited many weeks before AF returned. So, I strongly doubt that you have anything to worry about, you will be fine. My prayers are with you, and I am wishing you all the best. -Kay mblious@hotmail.com

Hie ladies, KelleyLemky, welcome aboard. I am very sorry for what you went through. Do not worry much about AF. It will come as soon as your body realises that you are no longer preg. AF after m/c vary from one person to another. My dr said i shld expect it after 5-9 weeks( came after 5 weeks 1 day). You can see now that you still have time. I understand how the need for AF is after m/c. Stop thinking about it too much. I read about someone who had it after 11 weeks. This is normal depending on ones body. reduce stress. I am wishing you all the best & hope tha AF is coming soon. Please keep intouch. Kay, Thanks for sharing, we will see the site. We really need not to dump this one. Those who has had m/c or are about to m/c should check for more info at www.pamsupport.com. This site is entirely for those who has experienced m/c. Again, please lets not dump this site. Baby dust to everyone.

Well i had the ultrasound which showed a healthy empty uterus (no tissue or anything) but my left ovary is enlarged 2x the size it should be. Dr is not concerned b/c blood flow is normal and no cysts, just sending me for an MRI to rule out tumor. He said i can still keep ttc and even showed me some eggs starting to ripen on the ultrasound.... :) THanks for the well wishes and support and best wishes to all of you!

Beth - August 26

Jen, I'm so glad to hear you got good news after your ultrasound! Aside from the sadness of the miscarriage, I'm sure that it just takes a lot of weight off your shoulders to know that your uterus is in healthy condition. I hope your spotting has stopped by now (mine finally has) but if not at least you and your Dr. know that your uterus is fine. Good luck on the MRI, I hope the ovary is okay too.

Well I thought I started my 2nd af since the m/c but now I am not so sure what it was because the bleeding was very light and only lasted one day then it turned brownish. It was the time I should have gotten a visit from af. Does anyone have any ideas? I am hoping there is not a problem but worrying is all I seem to do. Thanks for the support! Baby dust to everyone.

Was it af after 20 days of m/c???? It was light than usual and for only 2 days. Did anyone experience the same?

How are you ladies, I have been around but was not posting. Annemarie, I suggest you wait for somedays then test for preg. I hear that other people experience implantantion bleeding near or on the day of expected period. I will be very happy if it will be BFP. You need not to take medicine anyhow until you know what is going on. I am wishing you and all those ttc good luck so that we should have many BFP's in September.

Annemarie - August 30

Thank you for the advice Dak. I will take a test. Please pray for me.

Kay mblious@hotmail.com - August 30

Annemarie I think that we are all praying for you. Good luck!

It has been several weeks since my last posting. I went to my OB last month after 4 weeks of bleeding with my period...he diagnosed me with a polyp so I had to undergo another D&C 2 1/2 weeks ago...he went in there and found scar tissue and left over pregnancy tissue from my 1st pregnancy in May...Now, I am taking hormone replacement therapy to prevent scar tissue from forming...I just want so desperately to become pregnant again...I never thought this would be so hard...
