I m/c 7 weeks ago, and still no AF...my HCG was 996 yesterday...I guess I have to wait another couple of weeks before it'll go down to zero...
Everywhere I've read said 4-6 weeks after a m/c..but mine is taking forever. I still had a sac last week at my u/s. Does that get pa__sed or just reabsorbed?

Everyone here is going through the same thing. What a blessing it is to be able to talk to other women about it. I miscarried due to a blighted ovum on June 7 with no d/c. Still waiting (not so) patiently for af. I want to get pg right away! I was just wondering if any of you have read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler? It's a fantastic book about watching for the signs of ovulation. I recommend it highly. To summarize, when you have thick cervical mucus it's time to conceive! Hope this helps someone out there...baby dust...

Thanks Kristy...I have Toni's book, and have read most of it a few years ago when we were ttc'g #1...but I didn't even think to look at it after this miscarriage!!!
We're hoping to get pg right away and the fact that it's been 7 weeks and no AF is starting to get on my nerves too! LOL...
Hope she comes for you so you know where you are at!!
XOXO!

Just wanted to pa__s the information on: I m/c naturally on June 7th at 7wks pregnant. I was on a 32/33 day cycle before m/c, and I got af two days ago, exactly four wks to the day! DH and I are thinking we may wait til' 2nd af to make sure my body has healed. I am so sorry for those of you still waiting. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Baby Dust!

I had a misscarriage and D&C on May 31st. I got my preiod 28 days later. Heavy and with lots of clots. Scared me to death, but since I have always had a heavy period, I found it normal except for the clots. It's different for everyone, but if you had a D&C your starting with a clean slate. Your normal cycle However many days that is. If it takes alittle longer, don't worry your body just needs time to heal.

Hilary, i know what you mean, the clots scared me too. But like you said, it is nothing to worry about the body just needs time to heal.

I think that sub-consciously I have gicen up on the idea of having children. This has been my 3 dissappointment in a row. I plan on just enhanciing my career, and if it happens it happens, but I am not wasting any more energy.
I find it to hard.

I had a mc on June 1 and bleed till the 3rd. I still have not gotten my period. It is July 10th about 40 days later. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Is it to early to detect if I am pregnant? I've gone the most that I know of 53 days until I started my period. I am kind of stressed about it. What do you think?

MPena...how far along were you? I'm so sorry for you loss! I was 9 weeks when I msicarried and 8 weeks later, I still have not started my period yet. The doctor's have been checking my hormones, and they are coming down, but just slowly. If you had a negative HPT, then I would say you would start in the next couple of weeks....If you are starting to worry, I would call your doctor.
Again, I'm sorry you are going thru this..I hope you get answers soon.

Hello all you ladies,
Wow, what a wonderful relief it is to know that so many women are going through this! It is such a shock to find out you have miscarried. My husband and I just lost our first child at 8 weeks, and we are so sad. Fortunately, I am one of those lucky women who miscarried "naturally" (that is, everything came out on its own). I do have a question though - My hcg level has dropped to 8, as of today - I have no interest in waiting 1-3 cycles. Can I start trying again right away?

I was about 5 weeks pregnant. If I had not taken the pregnancy test I would have thought I was having a period. I was able to miscarry natural. I have to say this to because it is part of my history, I also had a stillborn son in Aug 2004. I was 33 weeks pregnant. I do praise the Lord that I have a healthy 2 1/2 year old daughter. I just itching for another one. I am just kind of nervous wondering why I haven't started my period yet.
