hey all, just checking back in! Rachel, that really sux. i am soooo sorry for that to happen to you. but i was told to wait 6 weeks before i had unprotected s_x. i did, and here i am 4 months along, saw the baby and heard the heartbeat. so there is hope. i never did have a period in between the shot and the pregnancy. that's why i was so worried with this one, but it seems to be doing fine. all i'm waiting on is to feel something kick! but i hope you,Tiffany, and Lajaune get what u want. i think about all this alot. keep staying relaxed. your bodies have to be in the right shape to take on another life to grow....good luck, and hugs!! where are the J girls? any more news?

Hey Ladies, it's about 1:00am here and af just came exactly 9 weeks after my surgery to remove my ectopic and my left tube. I had to have help from provera though. I'm just glad that it is finally here and we can start over. I'm glad to hear that everyone is doing so well!! Congrats to all with little ones in their bellys and I know it will be soon for the rest of us! Melissa is right, we need to rest and concentrate on our bodies and relax. May God Bless us all!! Tiffany

Melissa - January 14

Rachel, i know after my thing, i kept feeling something on my right side as well. i think about 3 days after the metho, i woke up with really bad pain in the right side. DH said i was on the floor sweating and pale, holding my front right hip (about where the ovary would be) i don't remember that. but we went to the ER and they gave me morphine (THAT was CRAZY) i am sensitive to it. now i know!! but i had also had the D&C, so alot of stuff down there was sore. but it's good to hear everyone's doing the best they can be. **Baby** Dust**

Lajaune - January 14

Hello all, Rachel I had similar pains to it was so bad for me I had to undress and was shivering all over, it was like I was having contractions or something.

rachel - January 15

Hi girls, well im doing fine, I not in any pain i was just feeling bloated last night and today i been having on anf off twinges. I would say more off than on. But yes I have got my period but definatly not like it usually is, I would say better than anything as i normally doubled over in pain every other month. We just have to wait and see now for next month. I think I will try them ovulation predictor tests, any body suggest which one and what you must do with them. Thanks all, speak soon rachel.

April - January 17

hello Ladie, I hope you don't mind me joining in. I have been going thru this for a month now. On Dec. 17 I went to the hosp because they thought I was having a mc my numbers were really low at 25 before this I was feeling all the signs morning sickness my b___bs were huge and sore until dec. 17 when I woke up I had started bleeding really bad and all my symptom diapeared. They keep an eye on my hcg numbers and they started to rise again they wanted to give me methodextrate two days before christmas and I refused thinking my numbers would go down on Dec. 27 they went up to 103 so I had to get the shot on the 28th the first two hcg kept going up and the third went down by half now I'm just waiting for tham to completly go down it seems to be taking forever. I was told no s_x , alcohol, and any foods containg folate/folic acid . Well My husband and I are very s_xual and we have already have had protected s_x HAS ANYONE THAT HAD THE SHOT HAD s_x PROTECTED I HOPE BEFORE THE NUMBERS WENT DOWN ALL THE WAY???? I'm concerned about this being it has been twice now that we have but both times have been protected. please someone let me know!!! My Dr. told me to wait at least one cycle to start trying again. Cograts to all with you new results it has been nice to find some one who has been going thru the same thing being at first I look and had found no-one or no info. May God bless you all and keep looking to him for your direction and we all will be just fine.

Jessica - January 17

This will be a long post, so bear with me! Rachel, April, and Tiffany (I hope I'm not missing anyone)--welcome! Sorry about the circ_mstances that find you here, but it's a wonderful group of women. Rachel, I'm terrified of what you went through. I'm so sorry that you suffered through a misdiagnosis that eventually caused a miscarriage. I didn't need the metho, either, and it had side effects for LONG after I received the shot. I'm still angry with the doc and probably won't be following much of her "quickie" advice. Rachel AND Tiffany, I'm glad that AF finally showed! It's a weird relief, isn't it? Tiffany, I'm so sorry to hear that yours ended in surgery!!! I hope that you are recovering well and that when you feel up to it, you're able to start TTC again! April, we had s_x before we were supposed to as well and everything was fine. I did have a chemical pregnancy at first AF, but I guess I sort of expected it. It sounds like you're doing everything that you're supposed to! Lajaune, any updates??? I didn't know that you live in Tennessee! I'm from Alabama and one of our chief vacation spots (only a couple hours away, you know!) was Tennessee--Gatlinburg and Chattanooga more often than most places, but I LOVE Tennessee! Melissa, glad to hear that things are going well. Growing is a good thing. :) Have you had ultrasounds and such? Everything on track? Jody, CONGRATS! We have the same due date! How's everything going so far??? Sorry I've not been around--I was in charge of all holiday affairs, then was called to a family emergency in Alabama and left suddenly. My baby sister is in the middle of a terrible custody battle. We're waiting to see if my dad or his wife gets custody, then DH and I will fight for her. We would like, more than anything, to adopt her. My dad is 54 and the baby isn't even a year old. He has very little working in his favor, other than his wife is a lunatic. (He's not much better, but for now...) I've been trying to catch up, but have been overwhelmed by morning sickness and fatigue. I also have my first ultrasound today, so I've been intensely worried about it. Cross your fingers and I'll update you as soon as I know something. This is my 5th pregnancy (at least) and I have no living children from any of them. I desperately want this to go well. I'm making myself sicker!!! I'm also having insurance problems!!! I don't know what to do! DH just switched jobs, but his ins. may have been cancelled immediately. They won't tell me anything, and he hasn't been able to get in touch with them. No other insurance company will take me because I'm pregnant already, and I'm not sure if we'd qualify for Medicaid. Keep everything crossed, again, that we figure out SOMETHING. Promise to update tonight or tomorrow!!! :) me

Tiffany - January 17

Welcome April!! My DH and I had s_x before we were supposed to, but after a month we didn't use protection. I don't know if that is what put off af, but I had to finally have provera to jump start it. My last one was in Sept-it also had to be jump started then we used clomid and I got pg the first try but you all know how that ended. The Dr. said the clomid did not cause it, but we are going to wait a few months before trying clomid again even though we are not going to prevent it until then. I don't know if it's bc of the surgery and removal of my left tube, but my right side has been hurting pretty badly. Almost like an ectopic, but the tests were --. Jessica-my prayers are with you!! Everything will work out for the best. It always does even though we don't understand it half the time! Is anyone near Indiana? That's where I'm at.

april - January 17

I was 6 1/2 weeks when they administered the methotrexate my numbers were very low I try not to think maybe I was going to have twins and one was trying to survive with my numbers going back up. I have heard of this but my Dr. said she didnt think this was the case. I'm unsure of that thhhink word! Any way I prayed about it and God is in control and will guide me thru I do know that God will provide and if it was twins maybe we will end up with healthy twin next time. Gods Blessing! I have two girls 14 and 8 we were going to wrap a gift to tell them on christmas and this happened a week before. It was tough at first but as I have already said God has his plains and maybe it was just not the time I have learned more in these past few weeks than every God has directed me in ways and I have learned alot. I would not have learned if this was not to happen. I do know that I will pray for his will ahead of time this next time around. God Bless you all. And Jessica I will and have already prayed for your direction to be worked out with the insurance and blessings for you and your baby. Also to the rest of you blessings from God to be with you. Tiffany take care and it will be. keep positive, maybe it just might happen without any help. I'm in Seattle area anyone on this side? Thank you for the welcome. Sorry such a long submit

April - January 17

Tiffany, I forgot sometimes your ovaries will hurt if you are ovulating maybe this is the case. Also check out a natural product Chaste tea I believe this helps with hormonal balance. Jessica, Also I know that if it has been less than 30 to 90 days depending on th e insurance company you can get insurance with another company and be covered with a pre-existing like the pregnancy. I know here regence blue sheild does this it might be different from State to state. you can go to the web site regence.com and look it over I would also call information in your area and get the local carrier from regence number and talk to them direct. This is what I did. Call until you get someone who is willing to be curtious enough to explain what you need to know. Your in my prayers.

To Jessica - January 17

You said you ended up having a chemical pregnancy. So I take it that when you had s_x you did not use protection Is this correct? This was during the time you had the methotexate and waiting for your numbers to return is this correct also. I was told not to have s_x until my numbers returned to non pregnant below 10. Also how long did it take for you to get from 75 I think you said to 0 or >10 ? I was at 79n on Friday I have another test this friday hopefully it is back to normal!!! From April Thank you for all the comments and listening No-one but my husband knows so I have no-one to talk to about this.

Melissa - January 18

hey to all the new girls! well, i did have s_x before the end of the six week celibate period. that's what the docs told me. but it was protected, because we had the shot, so we didn't want to get preg with that drug in my system. after the six week, thing, we started back up, and we got preg. but it was pretty scary too. we hoped this one would stay because i didn't have a period in between. but so far...everything's good. as for the docs down here in texas, i have to go to a new patient orientation at the veterans dept. then i can make my first appt. yay!! so both of the J girls got a positive? that's awesome!! To all the newbies, i am sorry for the circ_mstances that brought you to us, but we welcome you. we all need someone who has had similar situations, because sometimes, your close friends either don't know, or understand. but everyone think good things. there is a reason all this has happened. Baby Dust to you*.*.
