Hi, my name is Rebecca I had my last period on Dec 16th 2012 and never stopped bleeding until Jan 2nd 2013. I went to the Dr on jan 1st and they told me I was pregnant with a threatening miscarriage. I had no idea that i was even pregnant until I think about now and my br___t became a little sore. Im guessing I was around 4 weeks pregnant and miscarried on Christmas Day since thats the day I had severe pain in my side and felt really bad. I never passed and clots or tissue only bleed constantly for 2 weeks straight. My question is when should I expect my period? I took a pregnancy test today Jan 16 2013 and it was negative but i feel bloated and my br___t are swollen and sore as well.

i think it depends on the person. i had a d&c when i had a m/c years ago and period started exactly 28 days after that. i concieved again (against the advice of my dr, we just weren't being careful) 2 weeks after that with a successful pregnancy (dd is 5 now), was never found out why I miscarried. so hopefully you will go back to normal cycle very soon..i know not everyone is the same though. hope this helps.

thanks margie for the response I'm still waiting for my period not sure I will have one though my b___st are sore and I am having different signs that im not used too. Since my period started dec 16 and I haven't had any signs of it coming back Im guessing I ovulated 2 weeks after my miscarriage. Im going to test Feb the 1st since that will be 6 weeks since I found out i had a miscarriage. Wish me luck really looking forward to having a healthy pregnancy
