I am due July 25th, and going to stop working July 8th. That will give me 2 weeks before I am due, I was 2 weeks early with my son, so I really don't want to be working my last 2 weeks. I would die if my water broke at work.

I heard that the dr's can estimate when you are getting close. I work 1 1/2 hours away from were I live. So, I am not sure what to do, cause I don't want to drive almost two hours to get to the hospital.

Doctors can tell if you are dialating, but as far as your water breaking, I don't think they can judge that. They never mentioned anything to me about going in early and I was 2 weeks early

I have no idea what to do then...

Not sure what to tell you there. I know with my son, I went to the doctor one day, and the next morning I woke up and didn't know what was going on, I wasn't expecting to be going into labor, I rolled over in bed in the morning, and wasn't sure if I was peeing the bed or what, then it hit me OH MY GOODNESS I AM IN LABOR!!!! haha

At my next dr appt. I will ask my dr. I do have awhile to think about it.

Yeah good idea, when were you planning on stopping work?

I am due Aug 16th. I was thinking about that week. Then I started thinking what happens if I am late...Maybe, I can ask my boss if I can work from home till I deliver.

That is why I am glad I have a year off, that way I am not worried about being out a few weeks before the baby is born.

I plan on working until I go into labor. Even if my water breaks at work, I am not worried, the hospital is 15 mins from here, and 15 min's from home. I sure wish I could take a whole year off..... That must be nice!

I plan on working until I pop also. I am 23 minutes from home at work, but if my fiance is at work also if it happens here then he is like a two minute drive from here so he can come get me. If not 23 minutes is not bad because the hospital is maybe a mile and half from our house. . .sssooo if I go into labor at night even better, I have time to relax, ha ahaa

I don't know if my baby just learned how to kick, but she has been very active all day, I've never felt her this much. Thats a good thing right?

I think that is a very good thing. . .I am hardly feeling mine at all today, but when I do feel it its like it is just doing summersault after summersault.

Yeah well, I am barely feeling mine, even when I am lying down. I don't know why, but it is very depressing for me. Then my sister made the comment today about how little I am showing. I am about 20 minutes away from the hospital at home and 5 minutes at work. Needless to say, I am working till the end. There is NO WAY I am leaving myself alone the last probably 3 weeks. Kara, what are you having woman?!
