I would like to know can you be pregnant even if you haven't missed your period? I had unproteted s_x.I automatically assumed that I was pregnant and started preparing myself for the worst. But I have not missed my period.

There is only a 1 in 4 chance of getting pregnant in a given month, even if that's what you are trying to do. If your period came as usual, and there are no pregnancy symptoms, you got lucky. Please go buy some condoms and practice using them. Then get a female birth control method to use at the same time. You can't get much safer than that.
