Is it possible to have s_x the 1 or 2 days before your period started, and conceive 5-7 days later, from that intercourse - the day before your menstruation started? The menstruation had ended, so the sperm would have had to survive the menstrual period. Is that possible?

everyone's cycles are different but on a typical 28 day cycle, you ovulate 2 weeks after you start your period and you can only get pregnant when you're ovulating. studies show sperm can only live 3-7 days so it doesn't seem possible that you could have s_x before your period and still get pregnant unless you have an EXTREMELY short cycle, like if you have your period every two weeks.
