Can you get pregnant under any circ_mstance while your in the middle of your period?

Yes. It is unusual but some women ovulate while they have thier period. A friend of mine can only conceive while she is having her period. Also sperm can live for up to a week inside the woman if the conditions are right, if you have s_x while you are on your period and then ovulate early you can also become pregnant this way.
You should use protection whether you are on your period or not unless you are trying for a baby because of the risk of s_xually transmitted diseases.
