So, in about September, I went into planned parenthood to get on birth control, and decided to use 'the pill', rather than any other method because I thought it would be better for me to take at a certain time in my day since I usually have a set schedule. Well, time went by, and I started missing pills and taking them at different times in the day, and to top it off, I was having s_x--lots of s_x. I have had my "period" once, and the bleeding lasted about 14-16 days; but since then, i've kept taking my pills, missing some pills and taking them at different times during the day, and having more unprotected s_x. lately, I realized that It's been about 6 weeks since that period ended, meaning..I should have another one? I'm thinking that since i've missed pills in between, i might be pregnant. I've stopped my pills for about a week thinking it might urge out my period, but it hasn't come and now I'm wondering COULD I be pregnant?!

An irregular pill schedule could really mess with your cycle. If you take the active pills steady for 21 days, your period should start soon after starting on the inactive ones. Go get a couple of cheap Dollar Store pregnancy test and use them one week apart on first morning pee. Go back to Planned Parenthood and ask for some different contraceptive advice, or you will be pregnant sooner rather than later. GL!
