I wasnt sure what to call the question. But here it is. About 2 months ago I went to the doctor for what I thought was a UTI because I am newly married. But she told me it wasnt a UTI it was an infection. So I began taking a Antibiotic to get rid of it, and I havent had many problems with it since but everyday I have been doing a Vinegar and Water douch to keep the infection away. And I was suggested by a friend that if I will use the restroom after s_x. But since my husband and I are trying to get pregnant I was wondering if me using the restroom and cleaning my va___al area out very throughly after intercourse, does this lessen my chances of pregnancy? I just dont want to have another infection. Please help and any answer is well appreciated, GOD Bless!!!

Yes, using the bathroom right after s_x and cleaning the area will reduce your chances of conception. Talk to your doctor, maybe you can wait an hour or two rather than doing it right after. Good luck.

Believe it or not, douching that often increases your chances of getting an infection. I used to douche on a regular basis because I have a thing about feeling "clean," but my doctor told me that doing it so often increases my chances of a yeast infection because the douche breaks down your body's natural defenses. I was actually told to stop. Ask your doctor about it.
