I had s_x on 12/25/12 and took plan B on 12/27/12. I bled for 2 days on 1/2/12 which was 8 days before my period. I assume it was the pill that caused the early onset. It was light bleeding but this was normal for me (period usually last 2-3 days). To be certain it was in fact a period, i tested on 1/8 and 1/17 to be certain. Per my normal cycle, my predicted ovulation is on the 25th of the month. (my period religiously comes on the 10th of every month). Anyway, i had s_x on the 1/8, 1/19 and 1/29th. Per my cycle i should be safe. Then y am i concern? My partner is suspecting that i am pregnant because he notice an increase in my br___t size. I notice the increase also. What i find strange is that i get intermittent sharp br___t pain. It is unlike the pain that usually occurs before my period. My br___t isn't sore or anything, nor is the pain constant. When it occurs it is deep within the br___t tissue (more like a electric shock). I dont want to be pregnant and i now wish i hadnt been so careless. Could i be pregnant?

Difficult. The PlanB may have thrown your cycle off schedule enough that My Cycle could not be relied on in January. It's better to recognize your signs of ovulation - fertile mucus, high libido, cervical position. Let's hope you don't notice additional early signs this week - weird cramps, fatigue, peeing more etc.

Thanks. I took a test last night and it was positive. I'm still in denial. I'm going to test again in hope that it was a false positive.

That sounds like a pretty conclusive positive. My guess is that PlanB shortened your normal cycle by a few days, and you ovulated around Jan 22, with sperm still viable from Jan 19. That would give you a due date about Oct 15. The rhythm method of contraception is notoriously unreliable, and some young women are making the mistake of taking anything outside the "high fertility" window as safe. That window is for those trying to get pregnant. For those trying to avoid pregnancy, the window should be expanded. Call 1-800-230-PLAN for advice from the nearest Plannd Parenthood. GL!

Recently, Ive noticed that i get period like cramps (only happened twice and last less than a minute). Is that normal?

Grandpa Viv - February 12

That is normal, and there is more to come. It sounds like you have decided to continue. Move on to the First Trimester forum. Have you taken another test to confirm? What other early preg signs are you experiencing - fatigue, nausea, emotions etc. Will you start prenatal care with a doc when you miss a second period? Check your diet for folate intake, or get prenatal vitamins.

Ive taken three other test and they all were positive. As for going through with it,i really don't have a choice now that it has happen. I went to see an OB last week and confirmatory test came back positive. Ive schedule for an ultrasound on Friday for currect dating. I just she wants to see wether it's a plan B or post plan B pregnancy.
