h__lo all. my husband and i are planning on getting pregnant. he already has 2 sons from a previous relationship. i just want to know my odds on getting a girl. i would feel blessed with a healthy child regardless, but i would love to have a girl. if anyone could give me some insight on this, i would greatly appreciate it. thank you.

Hey, I've heard (and I'm not sure if it's correct) that if you have intercourse before you are due for ovulation like just after your period has finished that by the time you are ovulating, the sperm still remaining alive inside you are female sperm. If that makes sense. It's what my mum did after two boys and she got me!

I've done a lot of research on this topic as well. Eilee is correct. If you hav intercourse the day before, or 2-3 days before ovulation, you are more likeley to conceive a girl, as male sperm are weaker and will have mostly died off by then. There are a few other things suggested when trying for a girl, 1-Missionary position, 2-No orgasm, 3-the male drinks caffeine before intercourse, killing off the male sperm, 4-the male also can take a hot bath before intercourse.
