If you are going to have s_x and do not desire to become preg with out the use of any contraceptive's you should take your temp daily in the am to see if your ovulating. If you are ovulating your temp will go up (1-2 degrees)....you should definately do this for atleast 2 months daily before you consider yourself safe though....when you determine your time to ovulate abstain the week before, and the week after. And this should only be used in a completely monogomus relationship, where there are no possibilities of std transmission.
